Gingrich’s entire paid Iowa campaign team resigns

Wow. I am surprised. They resigned awfully early. Not that I really viewed Gingrich as a viable candidate.

Had not seen a lot of support for him. Glad they stopped before they wasted time and money. Hopefully, a viable candidate emerges from the right that gets people excited. Landslide re-elections of incumbents are boring. I would like to have a choice between two (or more) good candidates, rather than choosing the lesser of two bad ones. Could it happen?

Sounds nice.....but it has been a long time since we have had even one good candidate......I think people who are smart enough to run the country are now smart enough to realize they don't want the job.

Or work at Coors filling beer cans for 1/2 of the salary.

I am surprised that they resigned so early too. I never thought Gingrich was viable either.

Won't happen. I had a choice between a good candidate and a bad one last election, but this election it'll most likely be a humdrum election between two mediocre candidates (Romney or Pawlenty and Obama).

Rubio....but he says he's not gonna run...maybe 2016.....IMO, he's a viable candidate and would get my vote.

I just want to see Bachman kick Palin's barbie doll down the road.

Oh god no, Bachmann's scary as shit. She's somehow managed to trick people into thinking she's even halfway intelligent, which scares the crap out of me.

He may have to wait til 2020 if we get a republican President in 2012.

Doubtful. 2012 is going to be 2004 all over again. Some people voting for the sitting president because they like him, and everyone else simply voting against the other candidate, ending up with a moderate win for the sitting president.

It was already scary a shit with Obama before he was elected. People just saw right through him and knew that. Unfortunately, others weren't as astute.

I think you have it reversed. Since it was a landslide majority that elected Obama, I'd say it was the few that weren't able to see what was in front of them. Whoosh!:laugh2:

really vote again Politic Obama 0_o

I was only making a comparison of Bachman and Palin. Obviously Bachman more intelligent. It's apples and oranges. Palin has Paris Hilton syndrome. Or Barbie Doll syndrome.

No, that's why she's frightening. She isn't more intelligent than Palin. But she's apparently managed to trick people into thinking she is, which is even worse.

Obama did pretty well on that part, too.

He didn't need to. His intelligence is apparent, just as Palin's lack of is apparent, and Bachman's lack of as well. That's why it is so easy to bust them out...obvious that they are attempting to portray an image they can't live up to.
