Giant snowball causes thousands of dollars in damages to college dorm

Hahaha! That's hilarious!

Think about it. A snowball!! Of all things. That's funny. A college too. Kids...they think/do darnest things.

I don't get it. These kinds of damages aren't cheap. At least I didn't think a nearly 1,000 pound snowball would do that.

I think snows in Portland is less common than in Chicago, unless you are in mountain area.

My brother and his family live near Portland OR and the pictures he sent of his house were unbelievable. They had a good four feet of snow. He lives up a huge hill with a ton of tress. Have no clue how they got up and down that driveway.

Since Oregon does not have storms like this, they do not have all the big equipment to deal with it.

Why? Well, this reminds me of good o'le college days. LOL! I sure miss these days.

Yes, but you didn't go making an 800+ pound snowball that wrecks buildings, did you? :dunno: what I would do if I saw one of those giant snowballs rolling around town squashing cars and the likes.

How you feel if kids throw snowball at your house?

Who knows?

These days, I have done shares of horseplay. LOL

It's never happened. Why? This area is a Neighborhood Watch area, and those kids wouldn't get far. Plus, they would be paying the owner of the house a pretty penny for damages, and plus, no one knows where I live, anyways, and they're not supposed to. Only people who can know where I live is family.

The neighborhood watch won't prevent the children from playing snowball - it is very myth.

I used to live in area with neighborhood watch but crime was still bad.
