Ok, so I plucked a few Ghost Peppers from the garden the other day and been so damn currious of what they are like so tonight I decided to try one with my burrito. Well, BJ, my stepson comes in acting like the Stud and grabs one and bites half off and chews away... Then lit up !!!
I took a nibble at the same time and it took a minute but then that deep fire pit kicked in... OMG !!!! Poor BJ was sweating bullets and tears running down his face, I was trying to break a sweat and snotting, my entire mouth was on fire, gums and lips burning . BJ was guzzling Milk and spoons of sugar... didnt help much, then he threw up... all better. Me Im still tingling but I love spicey stuff....liquid fire later?

Well, I took the other half of my un-eaten Ghost Pepper and minced it and put it in a empty pickle juice jar, then I sliced up a bunch of Banana Peppers and threw in a couple hard boiled eggs to pickle in the juice..... give it a few days and Ill try it out....

I'm glad no one got anything in their eyes. That could be really bad.

I just grow the mild stuff, banana peppers and bell peppers.

No we warned him, he even seen youtube videos... I asked him to hand me one I was going to eat with my burritonand he turned , picked up one saying he wanted to try one too. Mom was right there and told him no and warned him, then he looked at her with a BIG GRIN and chomped into it... when it started burning he swallowed it instead of spitting it out, running in circles. Damn I should have had it on video. The step daughters boyfriend was trying to get her to take a bite as she loves hot and spicey stuff....she wouldnt.
But in all, it was funny as hell. And I didnt sleep much last night, dont know if the step son did, havent talked to him yet...lol

yes we have green,red,yellow, orange bell peppers and banana peppers too. as well as jalapinos and Habanaros.
 
You'll have no more cockroaches in your stomach anymore! LOL! When my dad ate real spicy hot food he said he it will kills the cockroaches in his stomach . I never heard of ghost peppers and thought it was a thread about a joke . :giggle:
 
This is what my stepson was doing....lol
My lips, gums, tongue, throat was on fire and got a headache from it but in the most part I was ok, except busted a slight sweat and runny nose.
These peppers are not hot when you bite into them and start chewing, then all the sudden its like someone threw a match on the logs, starts out warm and keeps heating up.

Damn I really needs to stop drinking water while on alldeaf , I almost got water all over my keyboard reading this. it's very funny!

sonocativo , my older sister once had some hot pepper flakes and gave me some not telling it was burning hot . I ate it and immediately tears came to my eyes and my ears where burning like HELL! This lasts for awhile b/c we where in a car and I had nothing to drink . My sister was a bitch, she thought it was to a funny but when she saw the pain I was in her felt bad. A little late for that. She was lucky I did not beat the crap out of her. We both where in our 20's when this happen so it would had been a real fight.
 
To solve the burning. Use a teaspoon of honey. It works wonder.
