I thought the groom is suppose to throw it not the bride, the bride throw the flower for the girls to catch...

Rice has been banned from most church, and when I first got married we had bird seeds, never again, cause I had a hard time taking some bird seeds out of my wedding dress inculding my bra, and I even swollow a couple of these nasty seeds ....
