Yea, I saw another article in WIRED and found it interesting. I think it is still in the trial phases in Europe/US due to some issues, but I guess China worked out the kinks already. Good for them! I did see that the gene therapy only works through the early development stages, which is why it was only offered for children thus far. I also read an article in MIT news that there was also something similar being researched in regard to something with gene therapy in later stages, but not can't remember the full details of it. I will have to come back and post the MIT Med news journal if I find it again. Very interesting and life changing innovations on the horizon!
