Gallaudet under fire after official placed on leave over ballot signature

There are many gay people got fired from job because of sex orientation, so it is discrimination against based on sex orientation.

The McCaskill's situation at Gallaudet is just no real deal, in my opinion since there are many gay people got fired because of sex orientation.

It is also illegal to fire someone based on sexual orientation. Why is it suddenly ok to fire someone based on their political views?

(btw that is called a double standard).

McCaskill isn't officially fired, but she is on paid leave, that's big difference.

She has been punished for exercising her right participate in a democratic electoral process. In other words, bullied and intimidated for her political and religious views.

And again, you may disagree all you want to, but it will not change the facts.

The paid leave is indeed punishment but less severe than getting fired.

That's fact about she wasn't fired, but only on paid leave.

Speaking about bullying and intimidation is based on your opinion.

I disagree with your opinion about bullying and intimidation.

For the record....McCaskill claims she was bullied as well. So do many of the groups supporting her.

She needs to present her evidence that she was factually bullying, but if she didn't, so it is opinion, of course, based on her feeling.

Yep, if she goes to court she will have to prove bullying, no doubt.

based on bullying and intimidation, so no, they support to reinstate her to old position at Gallaudet University and they see put on paid leave because of her belief is wrong. The groups obviously have to believe her claim that she was bullied.

It isn't easy if she couldn't present the hard evidence that she was really bullied, however Gallaudet University will used to defend against her.

No, it isn't easy to sue the universities and corporation if you cannot present the hard evidence that you were bullied by university or corporation.

I was bullied by some employees because of my disability at Walmart and the manager didn't care after I reported, so no way for me to sue and it is very hard to find evidence that you will truly prove that you were bullied, but with witnesses on your side should more helpful.

Also, there are many local (cities/counties) passed the anti-discrimination that cover gay employees.

Steinhauer - Do you understand about there is no federal anti-discrmination law that cover gay employees? The decision goes to state and local.

Yes, you are correct - however, Federal employees are protected. (I learned something - I thought it was a federal law).
