Frustration with voice/mail on Sidekick

It is very annoying to have voicemail show up on sk and i tried to remove it. But no luck to avail. Anyone here knows how to make "frowning face" voicemail icon to disappear?

Also, I m sick of getting voice calls from strangers for no reason. I wonder if anyone have this problem and wonder if these voice calls are from telemarketers?

Call the phone company and ask them to have the voice mail removed. I know it is annoying and I get the same too for my SK3, whoever calls me, goes straight to my voicemail :(

But for my other phone, I kept it, as it says to let them know - "Hi, you have reached Jacob's phone, I am deaf, please SMS me instead of calling. Thank you. "
 
I have that stupid face on my SK. I am always "using" my hearing hubby or friends to take care of the problem for me. It is becoming a problem at work with us, deafies, asking our hearing co-workers to take care of the problem. Some people have complained about that...ooops. :giggle:

I think u can get it permanmently removed by calling tmobile. It is a pain in the ass.

They won't have a problem, removing that for your comfort ;)
 
Call your number thru SVRS and when the voice mail picks up, then press * and enter your password then find selection to remove the voice mail off. I did that many times. Yes it drive me crazy!

Other suggestion is make a voice mail like JClarke suggested.

My hubby said that it sounds like spammers calling and leaving voice mail. One of my friends got a message from a voice that sounded breathy saying something like "Come on and talk dirty to me pls call me at ***-***. I am so lonely." Something like that...stupid spammers!
 
Sounds like one of these porn stars calling, LOL! No offense

Either you have to be hearing or have hearing person to say these message. But thanks anyway. I ll contact t-mobile tomorrow and have voicemail icon to be removed and hopefully it will be disabled permanent.

I know it sucks. I keep on asking my hearing classmates to do it for me then after awhile they just said, "For god's sake, just ditch your sidekick and switch to a cellphone that doesn't have voicemail!" lmao

I asked my interpreter to say that, LOL :rofl:

I know that. My hearing friends were just being sarcastic. Even though wyndtell is outdated, I miss the day of having rim pager whereas I dont have to deal with stupid voicemail. :mad:

Contact customer service and have them remove the feature. It comes automatically with all Sidekick contracts. If you tell them to remove the feature, then no one will be able to leave you voice mail again. The annoying voicemail icon will disappear. :)
 
Yes, u can call T_Mobile & tell them to block/remove voice mail icon from Sidekick which I did. Just explain to them that u are deaf and not able to hear voice mail. It helped and quiet!
 
I do have voicemail for my digital phone but as for my blackberry no way it drive me crazy. LOL I wont bother to set it up as I made a mistake with my broken blackberry. I finally got the replacement and wont bother with that.
 
sidekick 1, 2, 3, lx, slide ?
I have sidekick lx, no problem for me.
Didn't you remember I was the one who called you, the reason I called you because I want you to hear my beautiful voice. :lol:
