Gay friends or Religious friends?
 
For me, each person would either make friends or not.

It will probably be easier for me to make friends with someone that wants to help me teach cats to clap.
 
It's not a matter of which one is easier to made friends with , what does matter is that both people have respect for one another lifestyle or religion . Live and let live.
 
I have friends who are gay, some who are religious, some who are both. It doesn't matter what their belief/sexual orientation is. As long as they respect me, and I respect them we're all good :) Bonus? Having some similarities too!
 
LOL GAY FRIENDS is TOTALLY winning! You can be my gay friend... *sexy pose* lol! Seriously though... I do have a ton of gay friends... =P
 
In my experience, gay people are more approachable, but the religious are too conservative for me.
 
I'm gay... I try to give the stink eye to everyone I see... >=D Just kidding, but it's a fun thought... Usually my tattoo's and piercings are enough to send any would be approachers away. D= They don't love my tattoo's! lol! Not that I really care. =P

I once struck up a conversation with a girl once because of her ink ... give her a compliment on one of her tats and we talked for 20 minutes in a gas station parking lot about tattoos ... she showed me hers and I showed her mine ... TATS that is LOL she had been going to a place 2 hours away to have hers done and my guy is 45 minutes away by the time we parted ways I had convinced her to go see my guy for completing hers and she was impressed with my 5 year old arm tat cause the colors hadn't faded on it at all ...

anyways ... who cares if a person is gay or straight if there good people then there good people ... as far as religious people yep sometimes they are uptight though and don't care for my wicked sense of humor much :naughty:
 
Gay people don't usually want to convert you, religious ones often do. I am happy as I am thanks all the same :)
 
I see some women I wouldn't mind converting to be honest though... >.> lol! :giggle:
 
I really apprecaite everyone of you who reply to my thread. I am glad to know that i am not alone. I sure do have friends who are gay more than religious people. I dont mind making friends with religious people but some of them told me the truth that they rather have old fashion ladies, not too modern ladies like me. Alright! :)
 
For me, the big thing is, people to be with who are respectful, compassionate, genuine and kind and that we can learn from each other, of all religions, or no religion; gay/straight/trans; blue or polka dot.....
 
Religion is like a penis. It's fine to have one, it's fine to be proud of it. But don't wave it around in public or try to shove it down my throat.

I wouldn't not make friends with someone based on them being gay or religious, but I'd probably make friends with someone gay before someone devoutly religious. I mean who wants to be preached at constantly? Really?
 
I wish there were law against religious harassment, just like gay harassment is not acceptable nowadays. That is one of reason why I won't deal with them if they harass me in any way, gay people seems to be less harassing than religious people does, that's how I have seen over years.
 
I'm closest to friends with whom I have the most in common; that is, we have common interests and values.
 
I used to have a deaf friend who was retired from my workplace. He's Christian. Oh man, he couldn't stop preaching me about God, etc. Then one day I showed him a dirty magazine, he walked away so fast. Bye bye, good riddance! :lol:
