French police report shootout and explosion in Paris

My daughters boyfriend is from France. It's times like this, I wish my daughter was not so far away. They are scheduled to fly to Paris for Thanksgiving. I know she is safe, just wish I could give her a hug right now. RIP to all the victims and prayers to the people of France.

Yeah I just read the news. Horrible. Where did they get Kalashnikov assault rifles? Smuggling them??
 
This was very organized. No "lone wolf" attack.
 
I thought it was lone wolf at first, but you're right. They have orchestrated it carefully.

Probably from their handlers in the Middle East. Kalashnikov is their preferred rifle.

They probably also had some overseas training. They seemed to handle their weapons with some skill.

This is bad.
 
I speculate they grew up in France or Britain and had gone to Middle East for training...

At least. There could have been some attackers who escaped with the crowds. They might have also had lookouts and support. There have been estimates of possibly 26 attackers.

Geraldo Rivera's 21-year-old daughter is live on the news now, by telephone. She was at the soccer game. She's describing what happened. It was pandemonium. Geraldo almost broke down on TV when he first found out what happened.
