vfr, I agree--the acting may have not been the best, but the choreography was well done in that movie. There was a ten-minute intermission (break) halfway through the movie and that's when I saw a lot of other people signing "Wow!" "Whew" *pointing finger* "good!" etc... there were many twists in the plot, and this movie was different to me in the sense that it was a "drama/catfight kind of movie"--not exactly like a soap opera (which is very boring) but enough to keep most people on their toes. To me, it was the radical culture differences versus "hearing" movies in this movie that caught my attention, considering the fact that it was an ASL "motion picture" with carefully filmed scenes (angles, lighting, flashbacks etc) and an underlying cultural difference in how the drama was done versus Hollywood movies.
