For Women: Make Up

What Kind Of Make up and SkinCare do you use??

For skin care I use Noxema.
I always use Neutroguna Sheer-tint moisture w/ SPF 15 and use a little bit of shimmering lotion with it to give myself a little glow (both purchased at Walmart).
I never use foundation, I never liked the cakey effect it gives me (no matter what brand, I've tried it all)
I use blush, from Bobbi Brown, and Blemish coverup (it's my magic tool!) also from Bobbi Brown.
I love wearing eye makeup, so I use shadows from Urban Decay, eye pencil from Sephora, and I use Blackest Black mascara by Maybelline.
On the lips, I use either just Burt's Bee Wax chapstick or if I want some color, I use Hard Candy's Lip gloss.

How often do you wear Make-Up??

I tend to do it everyday. But if I know I'm not going out or seeing anyone else, I opt to have none on.

Where do you buy Your Make-Up at What Store?

The skin products/lotion and mascara from Walmart.
Bobbi Brown cosmetics at Nordstorms.
I found Urban Decay and Hard Candy at Sephora.

Some straight [and gay] men and boys in fashioned/sophisticated cities like New York City, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami-Dade County and some other places have started using make-ups, not the same kind that women and girls use. These can be found at some drugstores if you look for unisex products. It is said to help men/boys look/feel younger.

My skin is so blotchy and weird. I usually use Clear and Clear products. I use to wear Black Opal Products for black women but since the stores in the LA area don't carry them (chances are I have to go across town or something to find it); I just stick to Covergirl and Jane. Target, RiteAids and Kmart.

Before I never wore makeup but since I've move out here, I have to wear it because looks are everything. Shallow yes but at least, people are a lot more friendly to me.

Me---- Nothing except when I go out to a nice places. I put on eyeshadow, blush, mascara, and lipstick. That all. I buy at kmart or walmart where I can afford to buy.

You could ask the clerks at the stores if they could bring Opal Black Comestic products in their store or ask if they could order some for you. Maybe one is close to you, if you go to http://blackopalbeauty.com and type in your zip codes/area codes. :)

I use Oil of Ulan as a mostureriser (?sp) and sometimes I use a foundation ova my fave when I go out. Lip gloss if my lip are a bit dry.
AND... oh dab a perfume on when I go out to attract guys ;)
Thats pretty much it really.

I used to use make up when I was in high school -- like mascara, basic foundation, blush and lippy...but nowadays, I go Au Natural -- meaning NO MAKE UP. With the make up, I feel so fake and un-natural. :P

Whenever there's a special occassion that requires dress up...THEN I'll use just mascara and lippy, that's it.

I wash my face every morning either with Clinique soap, or Principal Secret Gentle Deep Cleaner. Then put on Principal Secret Continuous Moisture. Once every two weeks I use Gentle Deep Revitalizing Scrub from Principal Secret. My skin is dry in most areas, so I wear moisture every day where the dry skins are. Most of the time the only make up I wear would be lipstick or lip gloss, so that my skin would remain healthy and let the pores breath. When I do wear make up (maybe once or twice a month), I wear blush, eye shadow, and mascara. The name brand of make up I wear is anything...Maybelline, Almay, Cover Girl, Mary Kary, Merle Norman, etc. To me, it's more important to keep my skin clean than wearing make up. :thumb:
