I can relate, I lost a good screwdriver somewhere in the grass and never could find it because I couldn't get my bike to start. I was so distant from anything trying to figure out why. I replaced the fuel line hoses, but it wouldn't start. Turned out I put the hoses on backwards, so the fuel line was connected to where the overflow hose is on the carburetor. Yeah, idiotic mistake, but to my credit, I knew nothing about fuel lines or carburetors, I just jumped right in and started working to troubleshoot and get my bike back on the road.
Dad is going to be pissed when he runs over that screwdriver with the lawnmower come spring. Good thing I'm 2000+ miles away from his wrath..lol
