The possibility if a longer incarceration rate in a looney bin is just that - not a probability. These folks are oh so clever. It's human nature to want believe that people can be rehabilitated. Shrinks are no exception, especially when a 'rehab success' justifies their treatment methods (no slam on the shrinks; most are genuinely well intended and highly motivated). The best thing to have come out of studying these creatures over the last however-many-years is the general agreement that developmental hard-wiring culminates by the age of twelve. And only three solid behavioral "markers" (read clues) to indicate future deviant actions.

Unfortunately, I have to admit that over time, my view has evolved to thinking of sexual predators, serial killers et al, as a virus. What does a virus do? It seeks to preverve itself. In our society, that's been too easy. BUT, a virus either infects (behavioral self-replication) or destroys. Read the newspaper, court transcripts, or any college text on the subject. How do we treat the viruses seen under a microscope ? That's a very harsh, I know. I say unfortunately because I'd prefer to live in a world where I didn't have to consider these kind of Big Questions.

This veered a bit off the subject of Michael Jackson, but the fact of him provides a pretty good springboard to the topic in general.

That's what I thought so.

I wondering myself why a boy's mother let him to overnight at MJ's place which she know about MJ's past. That's what I think she use it to make scandal out of him.

I know MJ is tooo naive. I still beleive he's an innocent but he need a professional help, that's all.

I have been of fan of MJ for many years. My favorite music and movie, "Thriller". I love to feeling the beating music to watch his performance dancer. It is so awesome !! It is hard to tell if any of the accusations are true or a lie. May the truth set Michael free and if he is lying may his sin find him out. Let God takes care of him !

Yes, it's true. Liza and Debbie stated over their marriage life with him and have no sex with him. Liza-Maria said that MJ tried but it doesnt work on him. I guess it's something do with his physical problem that's how it block sexual emotion.

I really dont know either he's gay or not but I only know that he is still virgin. He like to try with their wives but it doesnt work so he pay Debbie million to carry the baby for him with stranger's sperm from sperm bank. Why cant MJ donate his sperm? Maybe his penis cant errect to give his sperm out?

I voted for Guilty becuz Police did Videotape in MJ's bedroom and found alot of "little boys picture" on the wall, movie video, and many things in "secret room". Last night i saw one show about MJ. One boy was with MJ in bath and they do "touch" each other. So seem that MJ can't resist "little boys" to feel loved and wanted. I wonder why didnt MJ touch "little girls"? I think MJ is guilty b/c police and the DA have lots of evidence against him:

1) the tapes
2) the secret room
3) kids sleeping with him

that's 3 strikes that makes him look guilty...period!

MJ idolized Diana Ross all his life...no wonder why he wants to look like her... :giggle:

If it is true, these Mothers need to examined or let the Social Welfare to take these kids away from them!!

These mothers/fathers who are after money and let their offsprings risk to sleep with MJ is moral wrong.

The welfare do not need to control EVERY parents´s house what they did with their kids until the happenend..............

I would like to remind you it´s children protection law, welfare go after. They beleive the children and listen them more than their parents. As what a boy claimed that MJ do something with him, that´s Welfare´s job to beleive him etc.

It´s court decison either MJ is a guitly or not. If they found MJ not guilty then welfare will take children away from their mothers. Why? Because of bad influence on children.

I don't understand why you are confused. My post was very clear.

I said if and I mean a big if it is true that mothers put their children in harms way by having them sleep over at MJ's for the sake of money, then the mother's need to be examined or social services involved. There would have to be proof first!!!

You don't need to remind me it's child protection law cause thats what I bought up in my post.

So far MJ has not been found guilty, but there are rumours that he has paid off families before for incorrect behaviour.

You can't blame the mum's cause at the moment he has never been found guilty but I must admit after all the rumours I would not allow my children there over night.

Pedophiles are some of the sickest slimiest criminals around as they make friends with the children and the parents and then make the children feel guilty.

If this bastard is hiding behind his money he should have the worst possible punishment. Unfortunately it is proving that the justice system is fair and fairer to the rich who can buy their way out of anything.

This case will be the worst of publicity and politics ever. It should be a closed case with no publicity to try and get some justice, but I believe it will be just a circus.

We will never know the truth.

In Aust convicted pedophiles when released are monitored and now have to wear a GPS tracking device around their ankles as so many have reoffended.
This is to keep them away from schools etc and if caught straight back to jail.

Not a nice type of person.
