Flood insurance problem for house sale

These people better move in soon. We now have a second birds's nest on the other side of the front entrance. This time it's doves.

So, by the time they move in, they'll have a chorus of baby wrens peeping at them one side, and baby doves peeping at them on the other side every time they use the front door.

:ty: Reba. It did in the end but it was very very difficult as they went through it. We all moved last year and had various problems.

The birds - cute! But, hope new neighbors don't have cats!
hey at least the birds are enjoying the house-

The new people have a dog. However, we do have several stray cats around here that I worry about. In fact, while I was outside fertilizing their plants, I saw a cat go after one of the doves but we chased it away. Whew! Close call!

The dove had left the nest area to protect it. The dove played "crippled bird" to lead the cat away from the nest area. Bad thing is, that made the dove an easy target for the cat. But the dove flew off in time, and we yelled at the cat to go away.

We have a mama robin with 3 beautiful blue eggs in her nest right on our front porch right now.

I hope all gets worked out with your neighbors.

Maybe the new people will have cornish hens and hot"dogs" one day soon after they move in...lol J/K... but they may take care of that yapper next door...lol

Good news! The house closed yesterday!

A few other quirky problems arose on the last day but the realtor (bless his heart) worked everything out. :D

More good news--the baby wrens hatched! Naked little baby birds--ugly but cute at the same time. :)

This is a good day. We had an enjoyable 2 1/2 days camping, and came home to this good news.

Even better.

A few minutes ago I found another bird's nest in the ceramic pineapple that I have hanging near my front door. There's at least one tiny egg in it! Hope to have more baby birds. :giggle:

I have a mama robin sitting right on my front porch. She's got 3 beautiful eggs in her nest. The blue color of the eggs is phenomenal - not the typical baby blue you normally see.
