Flier hauled off plane over too many bathroom breaks

That is "F"d up man. What now a person can't go to the bathroom without someone counting how many times they go? WTF is the world coming to?

This is the direct result of the fear mongering tactics that have been in use.

Next thing you know, they'll be hauling people off the plane for crunching too loudly while eating the pretzels.

Or for using secret codes, miming plans to take over the aircraft.

No doubt. That is what happens when you try to manipulate people through fear. They become unreasonably fearful and act in absurd ways. Guess the politicians that created the fear didn't think about the consequences.

Red Scare, anybody?

chhhhk. Will the passenger in seat A3 stop turning on the overhead light. You have reached your quota of 3 times. This is the captain speaking. chhhk

Well, I don't think there were "tactics" of any kind being perpetrated by the passengers. They were just being people.....

Yup. There is something in ASL that they are terrified of, but wait till they see the names I call them through it.

The terrorists are probably laughing their heads off at all this.

Reminds me of the kids on my son's basketball and soccer teams cussing the hearing refs in sign!:laugh2:

No, I wasn't referring particularly to the passengers. But you are correct that they were just being people. People who have been unindated with reasons to be fearful. It causes one to be suspicious of things that have never been reason for suspicion before.

Some people can be alert and cautious without being fearful.

Sometimes suspicious people are correct in their suspicions.

I don't see anything wrong with reporting suspicious behavior. It's up to the flight crew to use their heads and training to sort it out. If they don't know how to handle a situation, then maybe they're the ones who need more training.

Made a mental note to pack my Depends for the next flight out....I do pee a lot in the AM. :ty:

Note A: Passengers said he was acting weird...... Perhaps there was more than just bathroom trips

Note B: Could there possibly be a number of trips that would catch your attention. Article says it was unknown how many trips were made. If he went a dozen times on o 3 hour flight would you be curious??

Note C: What the hell does unindated mean?

I think it's one of those old farts who's been watching a lil' too much news

They'll simply try another way. TSA and Homeland Security have been reactive, not proactive.

Also, one of the goals of the terrorists has been to disrupt air travel and commerce. Even without blowing up a plane they are causing hassles for the airlines and passengers.
