Have you ever tried flavored honey?

Some places offer honey that's flavored with cinnamon, apple, lemon, etc.

My favorite is cinnamon honey and it goes best with buttered biscuits. YUM! :)

I have had lemon honey, raspberry honey, and orange blossom honey.

I am a big honey fan so I haven't found one yet that I don't like.

come to Taupo, New Zealand I'd take you to the Honey Centre...

I don't remember kind of honey that I bought...I know a few...so good! I wanted to get some more fresh one...gotta to go farmer market to get some. I think the best one was cinnamon and raspberry.

Amazing, the price of honey these days! Must be a dearth of bees......

A local elderly couple have had bees for decades. The bees gather pollens from the local flora. They have natural flavors of cotton blossom, mesquite, horehound, cactus and too many others to mention. He sells the comb and refined bees wax.

you should eat honey from your local. It's help with allergies, but never give honey to young kids- botulism

My grandmother told me about my mother when she was young. For years, they always ate local honey and my mom never had any problem. Then My grandma brought honey from somewhere else... My mom develop severe hives. Her point was that you can be allergic to honey from different areas.

Wirelessly posted

Just rambling about honey as I found it fascinating that mom reacted that way. :)

We get orange blossom honey weekly here. I also have had clover honey, but never really any other kinds. Would try any of them really, just not available around here that6 I know of.

There's an apple/pumpkin farm that I went to in Rochester years ago. They also sold flavored honey. They even sold samples of each flavor (came in sealed straws that had different colored lines indicating the flavor)... 7 to 10 flavors... 25 cents each. Just buy what you're curious about and try it. Like it? Then get the whole bottle. That's what I did for the cinnamon honey. :)

Wow, I don't think we have flavoured honey like that in Australia. Although, we do have different types of honey.

I love Honey Crackles. :)

Products from lavender honey to cosmetics and candles, this bee yard/farm is just one of several across in Ontario that specialises in its own market from start to finish.
