And it is not the only case, if you google up, you may find plenty. So, number is there. But again, the new law just enacted and this convict happen to be the first.

Unfortunately, I believe that babies end up in dumpster more than we thought, landfill, and so on may be much higher than we think, all due to Roe and Wade shyt.

two wrongs don't make a right but more kids born with problems or die in childhood due to crap pregnant woman eat or over fed kids, violence, gangs guns knives many many of these kids under ten list go on.

Think baby never found in dumpster?
I've never said that. I said that I dispute the reason for disposing of babies in dumpsters.

That link had nothing to do with the drug prosecution law.

I never doubted that poor little babies can end up in dumpsters; I simply doubt that the new drug prosecution law is the main reason. Dumping babies has been happening long before any drug prosecutions of mothers happened. After all, your link dates back to 2000.

i don't think the drugs laws reduce dumpster babies...most babies dumped in third world countries just bc they girls...
i don't think this a thought out law

Babies have been thrown into dumpsters, drowned, left in the woods, etc., long before this Law...feel mainly it was teenage girls who were afraid to tell their parents they were pregnant...but some just didn't want that "thing" and just threw it away....

Asian girls do it one poor baby found in dumpster over here not long ago my heart bleeds for young mother she must been terrified

I never said it will be the main reason, but add that new law only end up adding on the list of why babies ended up there. Do we really want add that to the list?

Right! Exactly what I am saying all along, these teenager were afraid of parents, same way when the new law kicks in that throws mothers in jail only gives these mothers F E A R, and would do same thing what teenager have done, just in hope of escape the felony record and nobody knows about it, thats the worst thing to poor babies.

*headdesk* RockinRobin, we're NOT saying " let the addict go off easy." We're saying get the pregnant woman into TREATMENT, so that the baby is not harmed....... I agree.....the effects of drugs and alchohol on babies is HORRIBLE! But the mother is NOT IN HER RIGHT MIND. The addiction takes over and she does stuff b/c of the addiction that she wouldn't normally do..... It's not b/c she's a Melissa Jenkins or a Hannibal Lector, taking pleasure from pain. The power of her ADDICTION is making her do those things. Not her per se. Get her in treatment, so her baby isn't harmed, and can be born without drug/alchohol damage. If she refuses, then YES.....sentence her to jail and or birth control!

It make prison overcrowding so that's unfortunate.
