Fire-Safe Cigarette?

The simple solution is:
1.) dont smoke or
2.) dont smoke while drowsy as you can burn yourself or burn the house down.

But the main problem is smoker or non-smoker everyone should have some type of smoke alarm device to alert you to a fire.

I have seen some of cigarette burning actually dissolve before whole of the tobacco turn into ash. Plus I am a smoker and I know. ;)

dude..i smoked for 15 years...it is not 100%. there are and will be some chances of catching fire. Thanks god for my wife, she got me to quit smoking :D

Of course, it's not 100 percent fire-safe, but I do see some of cigarettes such like Native American Great Spirit brand, they does dissolve the burning before the cigarette became into ash complete. It's similar how the fire-safe cigarettes works as described in the article.

Anything that requires burning to maintain its purpose will never be fire-proof.

they say 'fire-safe' to cover their butts for legal reasons but from context we know they mean 'fire-proof' and I agree with Vampy, anything that needs a flame for its purpose will never be fire proof or fire safe whichever you want to call it.

But my point is that, why not try more ways to prevent the fire from the cigarettes? We can't just expect the smokers to not smoke the cigarette while downsying or drunken on the bed, right?

Fire-proof? This article say "Fire-safe".
That's what I mean. Sorry.

If they really want to make something fire-safe, they should make everything else fire-safe.

You smoke a cigarette. In order to smoke it, you need smoke to come out and into your body. In order to make smoke, you need to burn it. In order to burn it, you need to use fire or something hot enough to make it burn.

Perhaps we need a battery acid cigarette or sulfuric acid cigarette? Those dont need a flame to burn, so therefore 'fire-safe'

Yupp correct, but when the fire-safe cigarette was left out, the burning inside the cigarette dissolving itself before it would burn whole of the tobacco inside the cigarette which make a smokers have some of chance that it won't burn the house up.

More chemicals? No thanks!
