Find my Birth Parents!!!

My birth father was very pissed off when I found him. :( Some parents may be happy and others may not be.

Since I was adopted, they place all birth certificates in the capitol so you may want to contact Birth Registry in your state capitol. They have websites so you can look for it.

I got my birth certificate from applying online for one so that was how I got mine. It does not list their phone numbers though.

Good luck

i so sorry your birth father mad!!!!! i hope my birth parents are happy and they want to be friends. your birth father not want to be friends?

No he did not. He did not want to feel guilty so out of sight, no guilt I guess

Do contact the capitol office and ask them what to do. They can guide you to the appropriate department.

gemma i sorry he not want to be friends! i called capitol and they say i get copy of birth certificate at local health department!! so i take bus and go there tomorrow and they make me wait 1 hour and then give me copy of birth certificate. i will tell you if it works tomorrow! have good night!

Great! Once you get your birth certificate, you will know the names of your parents and your birthplace. Try look up your parents in your birthplace first then go outside your birthplace. Good luck! I hope your parents will not be upset that you found them.

By the way, after finding your parents, you should ask them for medical information like what tends to run in either parents' family - like cancer, diabetes, etc. Important to know so you can watch out for those problems in your life.

Hello, I wish you the best on your endeavor to find your birth parents.

Actually, In Indiana (that's where I was born at) for one to get their birth certificate - You have 2 options to get your birth certificate.

1) If you know the city (and the county) of where you were born at, You can go to the (city/county where u were born at) local health department to request your birth certificate.

2) Or you can also go to Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) in Indianapolis to obtain your birth certificate. It is $10 fee to get a birth certificate to apply in person.
