Here's http://www.relayreview.com/ !!!!!!!!!

Relay Review was created to fill the need for an independent forum to allow the community of relay communication users to share their opinion about the service they depend on everyday. Here, you can compare ratings for different providers and read what other relay users have to say.

Relay Review seeks Constructive Feedback from you, your family, friends, and colleagues. Serious complaints should be directed to the Relay Provider's Customer Service department. Offensive, nasty, or defamatory comments are not welcome and will be removed. Our purpose in inviting and communicating feedback is to help relay providers improve. Positive and honest feedback can make a difference!

The providers who thrive and bring customers back will be the ones that not only listen, but eagerly solicit consumer feedback.

Feedback also means praise and recognition. Relay Agents are human and would like to know when they've performed their jobs well. If you have a wonderful experience through the relay, do let them know it with a posting on Relay Review. A "thank you" goes a long way.

========

As of posting the ranks are;

Top Ranked
1. Sprint (4.2)
2. IP-Relay (4.0)
2. i711 (4.0) tied
2. Hamilton (4.0) tied
2. CSD (4.0) tied

Most Popular
1. Sorenson
2. Hamilton
2. CSD tied
3. IP-Relay
4. HOVRS

What the heck? What good does this site do? The FCC already requires that all relay complaints and complements be reported to them. They also review the complaints to make sure that all of them are answered satisfactorily.

http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/dro/trs_by_state.html Each state has their own complaint log reported to the FCC.

This "Relay Review" site will only encourage people to post fake reviews and fake compliments. Fake positive reviews for the services they support and false negative reviews for those they are against. All it will take is someone spending 5 or 10 minutes to torpedo all the ratings and the site would be useless.

This site doesn't help anything, Richard. It just gives people a false sense of security and trust that a website would be "right."

Interesting! Im not sure if this is legimitate review. It seems to run by private (Found info on WHOIS), and I do not know this private indivual have anything to do with among these relay service provider. Yes, Im very skeptical!

Sorry to be BLUNT!

I know there's critics of this site and I have no problems with them voicing their concerns but if you pay close attention to the complaint forms of these 2 sites;

1) FCC - http://svartifoss2.fcc.gov/cib/fcc475.cfm

2) Relay Review - http://www.relayreview.com/call_form.php

Which of the two forms are simple and easy to complete? Which of the 2 forms are simple and easy to solicit community feedback.

The answer is right in the forms themselves.

Richard

I don't think you get my point across! My point is, is the owner of this website a reliable source? I don't think so! I did investigate and found out its not independently entity with some sort of researcher. It is owned by private, and can be ANYBODY! So, they have the power to change making the review looks good, while it is misleading. Have it happen in history? YOU CAN BET ON IT!

I have to agree with diehardbiker. I can't find any information about who owns or runs the site on their own site! People who hide their identities on websites are doing it so they can hide their real intentions.

Richard, why doesn't he say, "run by so-and-so?" Is it being run by someone you know?

I dont know the person who runs the site. However a site of this kind is long needed. I do know some nationally known deaf watchdog sites now and in the past have always been California based. I can list a few of them if you like.

Richard

This isn't a "national watchdog site." OH, MY GOSH, how can you POSSIBLY think that of this site?

I see who runs this site. Some guy named Taylor Mayer, business TaylorInfomedia. TaylorInfomedia created Club Deaf's website, which is one of the relay service providers rated by Relay Review. Coincedence? I think not.

Neutral? Definitely not.

There are plenty of dirts on Tayler Mayer:

(scroll all the way down to near the end of article)

Satisifed Dennis?

Exactly, you dug same info I have dugged out too! That is why I was very skeptical! I ain't stupid!

I'm already suspicious of the site's intentions and the info you've provided shows that it's definitely a site to avoid. Definitely NOT neutral, and definitely NOT a "bullhorn for the deaf community" as Richard stated.

It's not me that you need to convince -- it's everyone else who will believe Richard or the people like him who say that this site is advocating for their rights.

Suppose someone from Sorenson starts ranking Sorenson as number one and uses it to justify to the FCC that "at least one review site says we are the best and deserve to be given a VRS monopoly."

The same thing can be done for those other relay services to say their services are terrible and this site will be "evidence" of that.

It looks very neutral to me because ClubDeaf hasnt gotten any feedback whilst other relay providers have received plenty.

As far as I know, no such operator code exists. I've never seen one of our RO's codes start with 3.

There you said .. I second.

Traditional Relay

AT&T provides the best traditional state relay by far. It is far better than the other companies BUT AT&T is getting out of the relay business. That makes me MAD. They just announced that they are buying out bell south and will once again be the "biggest" phone company but they don't want to provide service to deaf people. That sucks. They have better operators than other companies. I think we should all call AT&T and complain that they don't want to provide service to the deaf and HoH.
