Fess Parker, TV's `Davy Crockett,' dies at 85

"Davy...Davy Crockett....KIng of the Wild Fronteer"....RIP! One of my childhood favorite TV shows.

This is the second actor to dies this week! I watch Davy Crockett on TV some time. I use really like the show as kid . RIP Fess Parker.
He was married to his wife for 50 years , you do not see actors stay together
that long with one woman very often! This was nice to see.
 
Back in the 50s we had a very very corny joke.
Q. How many ears does Davy Crockett have ?
A. 3. Because he is King of the Wild Front Ear.

Yes, and he died on his wife's 84th birthday.
 
I loved watching Davy Crockett when I was a hero. My brother was a fan who is ten years older than me had the coon cap. I had the toy flint gun.
