Do you know that a boulder recently fell down and killed a couple in Utah area(I think)? That is pretty insensitive that someone would think this is funny!! What if the boulder fell down on one of your friends hiking? Serves them right to get punished!!!

I am not sure where you stand on this , do think the guys where right in knocking over the rock ? You made a statement about people getting killed by a boulder falling on them , then say "Serves them right to get punished!!"

I mean that guys think it's funny to roll down boulders. Would they think it is funny if they rolled the boulder and it killed someone? Those that rolls boulder deserve to be punished. No one deserves to be killed by boulders.

OK , I got you now. I was not sure what you meant. I agree the guys should get punished and they could end in jail and pay a huge fine. I feel they knocked the rock off just for fun and made up all the crap about being worried it would fall on a kid to cover their asses.

a felony?
this is absurd!!!!
more laws, more laws, more laws....
nuts

Why? I'm furious that two scouts ruined the ancient rock, so I'm glad that they will get charged with felony.

ruined what? some rocks standing on each other?
they are rocks, they have no meaning or ancientness outside of the meaning we give them
a felony can very well ruin two human beings lives
they nocked down some rocks
gosh
this is an outrage of justice!!
nuts!

It is interesting the new story leaves out one of the other infuriating details:
"Taylor is now facing additional scrutiny after it was revealed that he filed a suit claiming he endured “great pain and suffering, disability, impairment, loss of life” stemming from a 2009 car accident"
Man Who Toppled Ancient Rock Suing for Disability - ABC News
His description of himself does not match his actions in my opinion.

so what you cant be disabled and topple rocks?
if he used the rocks to skip across a stream would be calling or an execution?
nuts

They are in national parks and their nature is protected.

It looks like you have no heart about nature of national parks.

I don't care if felony ruin their life, so they have learn their lesson for not ruin the nature of national parks. I have no sympathy for two ex-scouts and they can rot in prison whatever they want.

Regardless if you agree or disagree, I'm glad that two ex-scouts got charged with felony and they should know better about national parks.

First, law is law. If you ruin the nature so you will get charged. Two ex-scouts' life isn't in danger and they played with big rock, so they shared via online too.

No, I'm very pro-environment and I have no sympathy for any idiots who made damage or ruin the nature, also their life isn't in danger.

You have heart for nature? Your comment suggested that you are not. The justice for national parks are priceless, IMO.

Two ex-scouts' life isn't in danger and they just played with big rock, and shared via online. *look at their facial expression*
