Fed-Ups...no not the postal joke

Gotcha. I like the wireless idea too, and my new HAs that I'm getting next week are wireless (bluetooth) for TV, etc. And programmable right from my iPhone. It'll be like something I've never had before! My current HAs are dinosaurs. :lol:
 
Yep, that bluetooth stuff is nice, love hearing my iphone in stereo with the CI using the phone clip.

I admit I'm often technology-stupid. My audi showed me the app that will allow me to play music off my iPhone directly into my new HAs with bluetooth - thus eliminating buds (which I can't use anyway since I have earmolds) and I asked her "will people at work hear me playing my music" -- she said, "not a chance because it's streamed right into your HA and not coming through any speakers or earbuds, etc.". So after my visit with her, I came back to work telling my boss that I will be able to play music all day long at work on my phone and nobody can hear it but me, AND NOBODY WILL BE THE WISER !!" She laughed her head off. She's great. :)

Same ith these, I can hook into my MP3 or phone and play them streamed right to the CI's and no one knows.

Unless you turn the volume way up on your HAs. Sometimes, with my old aids, my daughter said she could hear the sound I was streaming from the FM receiver at church because I had turned up the volume too much.

How old were those aids? I hope they've improved them now that my audi is right in that nobody will be able to hear anything coming out of mine. I will have to do some testing with family and co-workers :) (Also, could be that it was an FM receiver stream and not bluetooth? I have no idea. Just guessing.)

I'm guessing she heard the sound coming through the hearing aid - out my ear. :o

Well, it's still an interesting question and one I will be sure to be asking others that are around me if they hear my music, just so I know how loud I can blast my ears ;)
