Did you forget we're talking about Subway? You're the one who started the thread. It's not like you can't get Swiss anyfreakingwhere, but you can't get it at subway anymore.

Wonder if that's in specific places because the 7 different Subway's here in town all have Swiss cheese. It's the only one my daughter will her on her "BLT no dressing".

Her order is always: foot long, white (Italian), BLT, Swiss cheese, no dressing.
Mother gets: 6 inch, Italian Herb & cheese, ham, Swiss, spinach, sweet peppers and the sweet onion dressing.

I have no idea. The ones in SC stopped, and I've been to a subway here in a Texas once and they didn't have it.......and apparently where Highlander is they stopped too.

Ditto, firehouse makes awesome meatball subs! As for subway one thing I find extremely annoying is that when you ask for olives they only put 4, just FOUR olives on the sub even if its a footlong. Gosh I hope you don't break the bank throwing an extra olive!

I don't think that's normal. I've gotten olives a few times I they didn't do that. Tomatoes yes, hell they put more than 4 cukes on them :) where you went they must be asshOOOles.

It's never my first choice, but when I was working at Massage Envy, Subway was just 2 stores down for us in the plaza we were located in. It was just beyond convenient. There was also a lowes Foods, I went there a lot too.

Steak and Cheese, Meatball marinara or ham & cheese.

Hmm I can't remember if they had swiss- for some reason I think they did the few times I order the ham & cheese (in SC mostly).

I also like Quizno's (minus those stupid sponge monkeys uck) and Firehouse Subs Mmmm.

And Mew.. Oh... WaWa.. THE best hoagies ever-- used to live near one about 2 blocks away when I lived in PA. The Shorti hits the spot when you aren't super hunger. The Regular size is perfect for a meal (well for me anyway). I miss them and Doyle's Deli in town I lived in...:(

We had a Subway in my city but it did not do very good. I did not like their bread . I normally have a salad for lunch .

I prefer Jason's Deli, Firehouse Sub and Panera Bread.

In DC metro - Potbelly.

I'm allergic to dairy and that's why I can no longer have their subs. That and something to keep their veggies from spoiling while out in that bar.

That stuff is called sulphur dioxide , Wendy use it on their veggies too. I went to Wendy only one time and had a salad and got a wicked headaches within 20 minutes . A few nights I heard on the news that Wendy uses sulphur dioxide and some people where getting sick . Edible Arrangement use this crap too , I know someone that got an Edible Arrangement basket and did not know it had sulphur dioxide on it and got sick , she is allergic to it.
Do get headaches from the eating the veggies too?

I get violently sick to stomach from most all of the fast food places. I have to wash all vegetables and do my level best to buy frozen or from the farmer's market only.

We've also found I cannot tolerate food from other restaurants, either due to the allergies or something they use.
