FORREST CITY, AR – Police say a Forrest City, Arkansas man has been charged with raping his 8 day-old baby.

According to a police report, officers were called to the Forrest City Medical Center, September 1, 2008, about a baby that had been sexually assaulted. Forrest City police say the baby also had a skull fracture and had to be transferred to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock because of the severity of the injuries.

Investigators say the father attacked the infant during a visit at her 15 year-old mother's house. Police say other people were at the home at the time of the assault.

Police say Davis had no criminal record since turning 18, but could not say whether Davis had a juvenile RAP Sheet. The information could not be released under Arkansas state law, said investigators.

Police say the infant’s father, 18 year-old Reginald Davis, has been charged with Rape and Second-Degree Battery. The case is still under investigation and it is unknown if any other arrests will be made, said Forrest City Police.

Davis is being held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in circuit court on September 17.

I don't understand the father, and I don't understand why the family would leave him alone so long with the baby when he was just a visitor.

Because he was the father and (at the time) had the right to spend time with his baby. Who on earth could have ever imagined that someone could do that?? Why would they have thought to keep him away?

I assumed they already knew there were problems since he was only a visitor and not living in the home. :dunno:

The mom was 15. What kind of parents would let their pregnant 15 year old's older boyfriend live with them? I think it is logical that he didn't live with her.

The monster needs to have his balls busted with a ball peen hammer, shot in the balls with a shot gun and then have the pellets removed with a pair of rusty needle-nose pliers and the wounds sealed with a blowtorch... (from Pulp Fiction... which is suitable)... THEN go to hell.

It is very possible for this type of horrific act I'm afraid.
He'll get his in prison as they hate child molesters there.... I mean they (other prisoners) REALLY HATE them! ... Guards too who will often "look the other way".

You are so right! I did not notice the 15 year age of the mother when reading.

Must be due to oral education and my failure as such. :wave:
 
This calls for the death penalty...he's an animal. For the grace of God, 8 days old?
 
He needs to get the death penalty!

I agree with you! He need to stay in the prison in rest of life or sentence to death penalty. Depend on his criminal record and it up to the judge. That's so sicko!

Of all the crimes I have read about....sexual abuse/rape against a baby is the worst of all!

Send that MF to me! I can think of many, many ways to make that SOB suffer......It's a nightmare! Unbelievable crime!
