I've just heard the most disappointing news earlier tonight, that the acclaimed game designer and Head of Team Ninja, Tomonobu Itagaki, who is well known for his creation on Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden series, has quit Team Ninja/Tecmo due to alot of problems with Tecmo and he send his apologies to his fans that we may not even be able to see DoA5 and Ninja Gaiden 3. This is such a huge blow to gamers who enjoyed his games over the years. I was a huge fan of the DoA series, which I thought was one of the best fighting games I've played since DoA 2 on the Dreamcast. I've enjoyed it more than Mortal Kombat or Tekken series. I've played Ninja Gaiden back in 2003 on Xbox which I thought was pretty good and amazing, yet very challenging but very creative.

Ninja Gaiden II, which just released on Xbox360 today, is Itagaki's final game with Team Ninja/Temco.

I think this is interesting, because Itagaki probably will either start up his own company or be snatched up by someone else, hopefully Microsoft Game Studios.

Yep... anything could happen.

Everyone is for sale. ;)

Why is that?

Did you play those games and die too much that you just gave up and blamed it all on the game? ;)

It is all about fighting. No strategy in it. It makes me to kill my own controller buttons that quick, which is not cool.

Ninja Gaiden has stragety. If you try to button mash, you will die, a LOT. Sure, the stragety may not be deep, but its there. It deftinetely is not a mindless button masher.

For me, it depends on what kind of fighting it is.

One good fighting game I enjoy is God of War. It's not just nonsense fighting, it's almost like a RPG game and fighting game rolled in one. You start out with minimum of everything. Some combos are simple. Certain moves earn you certain orbs (power-ups). Red orbs are collected and exchanged for level-ups in magic and power. You choose what you want to level-up. :)

I especially like where you can kill some enemies in more than one way. (One guy can be stabbed & swung around on a chain, stabbed repeatedly on the ground, held up in the air & stabbed repeatedly, or just ripped in half at the torso.) ;)

Whats with the trolling, dude? Are you really that bored or what? Ninja Gaiden on XBOX is consdiered one of the best games ever. It probably has a gamerankings score of 85 or higher.

Yeppers. I've tried Ninja Gaiden 2 demo on 360 and wow...I totally love it. Hard but fun and challenging. :D

Ryu is definetly better than ever in this sequel.

Microsoft Game Studios is a high possiblity. But who knows...? :dunno:

LOL @ the PR from Tecmo. They're going to hold onto the Team Ninja name, but I am pretty sure it won't ever be the same. I wonder what Itagaki's new team will be named?

This might be good for Itagaki, it would be cool if he could start a completely new IP(intellectual Property). ONE POSSIBLITY IS Itagaki working for Bungie. It is a LONG SHOT, but consider this. The crossovers in their games, and how they are not related in any way company wise. A Spartan in DOA4. The Hayabusa helmet, armor, and samurai sword in Halo3.
