Fancantasited by bridges

Your brother, must have paid for the photos, he didn't take it, the people who works there took these photos.

Right, I think so. I will ask him about photo later.

Here's the photo of the world's longest suspension bridge called Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge which is (3,911m) 12,831 ft long for the length of the bridge and the span stretching at (1,991m) 6,532 ft long.

:eek3: Look so big!! Look at the size of the buildings and boats comparison!

Price varies on when you want to climb - day, night, twilight, sunset etc.

I do not like bridges, well I do not like driving over them. Even the sight of a bridge bothers me. It combines my fear of hieghts and water to equal a very uncomfortable situation for me lol.

I think it would be ineresting to climb the Harbour Bridge, but I would be thriled just to get to see Australia as it is on my life-list of things to do.

Whoa, That is huge!

I can imagine that is definitely an eye-catcher!

As for bridges, I've always enjoyed seeing bridges no matter how small or big it is. I've seen Golden Gate Bridge so many times but yet, every time I see it - It still never always cease to captivate me.

There was a talk about building Bering Strait Bridge for years and years. The plan is to build this bridge from Alaska to Russia. However, Due to the nature of the weather and engineering complications, it is probably impossible to succeed to build this bridge.

Won't happen. Its not currently economical to build such a structure. The economy of both Russia and the US are both far too delicate to take on such an expensive project.

I agree and also, that alone is a HUGE project which would make it harder to build the Bering Strait Bridge. It was just interesting to see that idea has been circulating around for years and years.
