Don't forget to set your clock back an hour before you go to bed tonight. :)

Now it will get dark around 6pm and daylight around 630am. The extra hour sleep this weekend may be refreshing.

Sunrise time was nearly 8 am today. too dark.
It will be 7:00 am tomorrow. better!

I almost forgot about this. Thanks for the reminder, Babyblue.

To be honest, this time of year depresses me because I love going for long walks in my neighborhood and around here it's not uncommon for it to get completely dark by 4 p.m. I refuse to travel outdoors when it's dark for fear of my own personal safety.

I am *so* looking forward to moving to Arizona so I can enjoy more sunshine and warmer temperatures. I hear it's delightful in Arizona this time of year.

Me too!! I hate when it gets dark earlier. I have to hurry and get my errands done after work before I go home since I have night blindness. And as winter comes the daylight will get shorter and become dark around 530pm.

Off-topic...

You have nightblindness? If you don't mind my asking, do you have RP (retinitis pigmentosa)?

Thanks for reminding me, will change back one hour before I go to sleep tonight :)

Its ok

It is suspected by several different doctors but I have not been officially diagnosed with RP yet.

Sorry to all of you with problems.

I feel guilty to say it is my favorite time of year. And I love the extra hour of sleep.

Aww don't feel guilty.

I don't like winter bec of shorter days and bec I hate the cold weather.

My favorite is summer. I love the water being out on the boat! Longer days.

Everyone has preferences.

I already changed my bedroom and kitchen clock back an hour. Feels funny already LOL.

I always wait until the next day to set the clock cuz I love waking up and seeing it is 9 AM and then realizing it is only 8 AM. :giggle:

Yep, I hate it when it gets dark earlier in the evening. Makes me feel sleepy at nights and less motivated to work out. I am gonna try to do my exercises in the morning instead. See if that works.

ah thanks

i hate short days ACK make me depressed ugh it does get dark about 5:30-6:00

If you ever need any information or resources for people with RP, let me know. I used to co-facilitate a support group for the deafblind and several of our members had RP.

Bott,

Just curious...where do you live? (If you'd rather send me a PM or not say at all, that's fine.)

I love the extra hour of sleep too, but that's all I love. :giggle:

Growing up, I never experienced the changing of the clock until I moved to MD.
