So I was on State St. earlier today, and I saw some of the leaves starting to change colors down there. If I return back again this fall, I'll be sure to grab a few photos of those leaves. Good chance of that happening next Wednesday.

Yes it does ! One fall the weather was perfect for fall and the trees where beautiful , people looking up at the leaves while driving . We where lucky there where no accidents. I heard the leaves may fall before turning color this fall b/c of the drought we had all summer.

I love Fall also. The leaves on our trees are turning into beautiful colors. Near the end of October the trees look amazing.

Those pics that WDS posted are the Fall foliage that I miss. MD used to get bright colors like that but in the last few years, it hasn't happened.

Frisky, I honestly don't know for sure if skunks are generally more active in the Fall but we've been smelling them in the neighborhood or area <not just my yard> more often now. This is how it just seems to me.
I think they are omnivorous foragers and if they need to have extra fat store for winter, maybe they're out more. They don't hibernate but they do go into this very dormant, like "shut-down" state. Like bears do.

I always been curious how they smell
