Facial Appearance

I am half same as my mom and dad. I am short lady like my dad. my smile and nose are same as my mom. My son is most same as my husband.
 
I do look like both of my father and mother in some of ways. And even, people think that I'm twin with either of my half older brother, Jamie and my real-blood young sister, Emily. And, I found out that I'm more look like my grandma, my mom's mom since I saw few pictures of her when she was young.

But I'm more mixer with whole of family in me that I look like them ;)
 
The Finnish genes prevail in my family!
My mother and my half-brother (different fathers) and I do look same. With our nose, eyes, and smiles. You cannot deny that we all are related. My brother's daughter (which is my niece if you cannot make that connection like my husband) is often misunderstood to be MY daughter because she has her father's Finnish genes which I shared. Awkward when I have to tell them: "haha, no... she is my niece.... and I am too young to have a 9-yr-old child at age 20!" She only got her mother's teeth, unfortunately. It is weird that even the third generation (my niece) still carried on the Finnish genetics... thought it would fade out but it seems to be the dominant gene which wipe out our partners' genetics.
So there is a huge chance my future kids will obtain my Finnish genes, not my husband's (sorry honey!)

(On a side note: My husband doesn't look like neither of his parents nor his own blood brother. He looks as if he comes from another set of family. However, we noticed that my husband does resemble his maternal grandfather who was tall and thin abiding a beer gut protuding out of his statue.)
 
I don't know what I look like because I haven't seen my mom in 22 years and I have never seen my dad.
 
I do look alot like my father, I'd guess it's the german genes that runs in my family.

I have my moms nose and mouth, but thats it. I do however look like her side of the family. There is a very strong resemblence in the family. We have a very "black irish" and german look to us. I look exactly like my uncle (only 40 years younger. I was always told I look like him. Unfortunately, he died when I was very young. Growin gup it was very weird being told that I look lilke a dead guy. When I was in the Army I came home on leave in full class A dress uniform. Shortly after getting home, my mom dug out an old picture of my uncle when he came home on leave immediately after the korean war. The picture was him in class A uniform holding my mom when she was 5 years old. It was freaky wierd loking at that picture. It looked exactly like I was holding my mom when she was 5 years old.
The family resemblence contiunes. My two neices 9 and 8 years old, look exactly like me. Once again kinda scary. My daughter looks just like me. In fact, when she was about 5 minutes old I was holding her in the delivery room when the nurse said "damn, you can't deny that one". I still get told that on a weekly basis from perfect strangers. Lilly does however have my wifes beautiful eyes.
Damn I am surrounded by some good lookin people ;)
