I'm very proud of our Boston law enforcement - federal and state for their actions and swift justice. We should deal with all terrorist in this manner. Hopefully we'll catch the other later today.

Suspects of two brothers are from Russia.

Boston Bombing Victim in Iconic Photo Helped Identify Attackers - Bloomberg
Minutes before the bombs blew up in Boston, Jeff Bauman looked into the eyes of the man who tried to kill him.

ust before 3 p.m. on April 15, Bauman was waiting among the crowd for his girlfriend to cross the finish line at the Boston Marathon. A man wearing a cap, sunglasses and a black jacket over a hooded sweatshirt looked at Jeff, 27, and dropped a bag at his feet, his brother, Chris Bauman, said in an interview.

Two and a half minutes later, the bag exploded, tearing Jeff’s legs apart. A picture of him in a wheelchair, bloodied and ashen, was broadcast around the world as he was rushed to Boston Medical Center. He lost both legs below the knee.

“He woke up under so much drugs, asked for a paper and pen and wrote, ‘bag, saw the guy, looked right at me,’” Chris Bauman said yesterday in an interview.

Those words may help crack the mystery of who perpetrated one of the highest-profile acts of terror in the U.S. since the 2001 assault on New York City and the Washington area, one that killed three people and wounded scores.

While still in intensive care, Jeff Bauman gave the FBI a description of the man he saw, his brother said. Bauman’s information helped investigators narrow down whom to look for in hours of video of the attack, he said.

this hero deserves a reward. so does a cowboy holding his femoral veins otherwise he would have bled to death, unable to tell FBI this vital info. and a Korean girl pushing his wheelchair, rushing to EMT.

hopefully alive.

He may be fugitive.

fugitive? for what crime?

he's not a fugitive. he's a suspect. fugitive typically means he's a convicted felon who has escaped from jail or police.

Wow, looks like the entire city of Boston and suburbs are on lockdown. Schools and businesses are closed. They said they might have more suspects if they are working with others. The two are brothers. The man they are looking for is only 19 yrs old. So young :( The other brother who was killed threw grenades at the cops and automatic guns. The cop who was hurt is recovering at a hospital - age 33. They are warning people to keep their doors shut because these idiots are not afraid to hurt children. 7.6 million people on lockdown.

Nope, when a suspect is on loose, its called fugitive. Regardless convicted or not.

Suspect are expected to appear in court but on the run, what do you call them? There is no term other than fugitive.

Fugitive
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For other uses, see The Fugitive (disambiguation).

Fugitives are often profiled in the media in order to be apprehended, such as in the TV show America's Most Wanted.
A fugitive (or runaway) is a person who is fleeing from custody, whether it be from jail, a government arrest, government or non-government questioning, vigilante violence, or outraged private individuals. A fugitive from justice, also known as a wanted person can either be a person convicted or accused of a crime, who is hiding from law enforcement in the state or taking refuge in a different country in order to avoid arrest in another country.[1]
Interpol is the international authority for the pursuit of trans-border fugitives. Europol is the European authority for the pursuit of fugitives who are on the run within Europe, and coordinates their search, while national authorities in the probable country of their stay coordinate their arrest. In the United States, the U.S. Marshals Service is the primary law enforcement agency that tracks down federal fugitives, though the Federal Bureau of Investigation also tracks fugitives.
As a verbal metaphor and psychological concept, one might also be described as a "fugitive from oneself". Finally, the literary sense of "fugitive" includes the meaning of simply "fleeing".
In many jurisdictions, a fugitive loses the right to appeal any convictions or sentences imposed on him, since the act of fleeing is deemed to flout the court's authority. Recently, convicted rapist Andrew Luster had his appeals denied on the basis that he spent six years as a fugitive (he was convicted in absentia).[2][3][4]

Friends got called by police in Watertown at 3:00 a.m. to lock doors and stay inside. One guy is dead, a cop is dead, multiple towns on lock-down.

They have a house surrounded now..

Dude stole a police car and has even more weapons.

Edit: I'm guessing military background as they are, "refugees" from the war.

no that's not how it works. he's not a fugitive.

you missed this part - A fugitive (or runaway) is a person who is fleeing from custody, whether it be from jail, a government arrest, government or non-government questioning, vigilante violence, or outraged private individuals.

he was never in our custody. he's simply a suspect that we're looking for and want to interrogate him.

New photos of 19-year-old Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing suspect, being circulated by authorities in Boston. He is considered heavily armed, possibly with explosives, and extremely dangerous.

Please share, especially if you have family or friends in the Boston area.

The FBI is asking anyone with information to call 1-800-CALL-FBI or visit a special FBI website at https://bostonmarathontips.fbi.gov/.

refugees? no. more like Chechnya resistance fighters/rebels/separatists/etc.

Read the Wiki definition again! It does say whether convicted or not.
