Yeah, I have been to a few expensive restaurants before. :) The most expensive I have ever went is at Skycity resturant up on Space Needle with my date 2 times in the past. The meals for 2 of us cost about $70, I think. The food was very good! It had beautiful 360 degree views of Seattle and the mountains and the restaurant itself rotates every 45 minutes or so.

More info at: http://www.spaceneedle.com/restaurant/

Ah, Melting Pot? Do you have an url of that? I'd like to see what it has on it's menu.

As for me, Yeah I've been to few expensive-high priced restaurants. Few years ago, a group of friends and I went to a top-notch french restaurant where they served everything from escargot to ducks and all that. The food was delicious but god, the bill was just bad enough to knock me down!

i will find more on melting pot..

wow you had bad enought to knock yourself down?!?! ouch!

and you say duck.. mmmmm yummy! i love to eat duck! soo good!

Haha, No. What I mean is, The bill was HIGH enough to shock the living daylight out of me. I don't mean it was bad enough to knock me down. It's a pun.

Actually, I've never ate a duck so I wouldn't know how it tastes but from what I hear, it's good though.

:ty:

A few years ago on a new year eve, there was 4 of us and a $350.00 bill and almost last year on my honeymoon with my wife, a $120.00 bill LOL

they are very well worth our money and We'd do it again. every now and then we would deserve a good expensive meal.Hell, EVERYONE deserves a very expensive meal at least once a year or 2.

I've been to the expensive restaurant several times but, I can't pick one; maybe Cotton Gin Restaurant in Fredericksburg, Texas or Eagle Canyon Restaurant in near Burnet, Texas.

Most expensive resturant, we visited was in Switerzland to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and other expensive resturant, we celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary in London.

I have been go to Expensive Restaurant at Takota's Grill Japanese Restaurant with view the front cooking. It cost about 30 to 50 dollars for meal. It was my 19 birthday with my ex bf and his parent bought it for me.

In Disney Epcot's most expensive restaurant are French, Italian, and Japanese. It cost about $50 up to $100. We never go there. because it's our honeymoon budget got stuck.

I went to a local expensive restaurant once. I have a friend who always likes to go to random restaurants, but I tell him that I prefer to learn more about those restaurants before going there. I'm not going to go there and order food without research. He said, "Aww... that's nothing!" Well, to prove my point... I let him pick a restaurant randomly. He did... we ended up going to a place where it costs $20 just for chicken and watered-down gravy. :barf: After that, he now does his research. ;)

Most expensive restaurant I went to was PF Chang.

I like local independent Chinese restaurant more. Better food and better prices.

When I visited Norway, it is an expensive country, and eating out in restaurants will dry up your travel budget without giving you a culinary satisfaction. There are high-class restaurants serving food usually of fish with fresh Norwegian produce, but it will cost you a fortune. Our bill from one restaurant, I cant remember, but it was on a fjord outside Bergen, turned out to 1782NOK/261USD. So if you would like to eat on a shoestring budget, the best way is to buy your food from grocery stores such as Rema, Rimi, ICA, Kiwi. To illustrate how expensive Norway is, for example, 750gram Prior skinless chicken breast fillet costs 99NOK/14.50USD. Ouch, expensive, huh?

My family went to fancy resturant.. its about 50 dollar per plate

lol!!!

Where I live, it's in this order:

1. The Depot located in Seaview, WA. It is the original train depot station from the Clamshell Railroad of the 1800's. $$$$$ (Well worth it!--especially the Thai calamari and Northwest Phesant.)

2. The Pelicano restaurant at the Port of Ilwaco, Ilwaco, WA. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very simplistic and yet the view is GORGEOUS! You would be sitting there eating and watching boats come in and out of the port. $$$$$ (The tomato bisque is F-R-E-S-H! )

3. 42nd St Cafe in Seaview, WA. The best clam chowder on this side of USA! Prices are reasonable. $$$

These restaurants get their seafood fresh from the boats.

That is where I usually send all of my guest too. When one is in the lodging business, all the restaurants wants us to try their food for free to send potential guests to them! :)

Ahh.....the perks of the business!
