Good question, we don't know yet. She would have to file some formal charges against him though. However, the fact that the man is being charged with sex abuse would be enough to constitute a restraining order.

Sandusky lawyer was just on TV and the lawyer said when his client took showers with young boys that is what jocks do! Sandusky would take shower with a boy and soap him up and give the boy hug ! And the lawyer said there nothing wrong with doing this! The lawyer is just as bad as his client! I was getting sick listening to the lawyer talk! The lawyer is more concerned about
Joe Pateno and Sandusky than the victims!
 
Lots of sexual abuse surfacing lately. The boy scouts are facing lawsuits for not protecting kids from predators. My kids have never been left alone with any coach, scout leader, religious leader, etc. There is no reason for an adult male to have a kid alone with him. Period.

The perpetrators groom kids who are vulnerable. They gain the parents' trust in some way. It happens over and over again. Adults need to be vigilant so that these pedophiles don't have an opportunity to hurt kids.

Pedophilia has nothing to do with homosexuality. Most pedophiles who sexually abuse children are straight married men. People bring up the opposite sex issue but remember that these are not sexually mature adult men that these men are using for sex. These are prepubescent children. These men have absolutely no interest in sex with another adult male.

I would not be at all surprised if he has a history of that behavior going back maybe 30 years or more. He founded "The Second Mile" program to work with young children and teenagers back in 1977. I've been wondering if anyone he molested then might step forward. Boys who were youngsters then would be late 40's, possibly early 50's, now.

I know there could a lot more boys that been sexually abused by this hideous
monster! The governor or mayor is asking more victims to come forward .
This is going to long and painful investigation to listen to. It is going to be like the Boston Catholic church sex scandal all over again.
 
It is very disturbing that Sandusky thought it was okay to take showers with other people young boys! Bob Costas interview with Sandusky is very disturbing to listen to. But from I been hearing on CNN what Sandusky said about taking showers with young boys can be used against him in court! Bob Costas did a great job in getting Sandusky to talk! I heard 10 more boys had came forward , I would not be surprised if there 100 boys that came forward.

Sandusky's lawyer, Joe Amendola, some years ago represented a 16 year old girl who wanted to be declared emancipated from her parents. The girl was working in his law office at the time.

He got her pregnant, she gave birth while she was 17, eventually had a second child by him, and they were married when she was about 18. Now they are separated, and she is aged 32. (In fairness, a better track record for staying married for a good number of years than a lot of people have.)

Sandusky at one point made this comment:
"I didn't go around seeking out every young person for sexual needs that I've helped," Sandusky said. "There are many that I didn't have - I hardly had any contact with who I helped in many, many ways."

I'd love to know where that thought process was going - "There were many that I didn't have..." - what? sexual contact with? Good to know, I guess.

I guess you missed it. I saw 'Rock Center' Brien Williams new show. I was very disturbing to watch! Did you see the in the interview some years back when Sandusky talked about how" he loved to be around young kids"? EWE ! People are seeing this in a whole other way now!! This is one of the worst child abuse cover up I heard of! It was all done to protect Penn state
'good name' and the millions of dollars football brought in.

BBC News - Penn State coach Mike McQueary: 'I did stop it'

Mike McQueary, who witnessed an alleged sexual assault by former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky, says he believed he handled the situation the right way.

In an email, Mr McQueary said he stopped the assault - although not physically - and spoke with the police.

The email was forwarded to the Associated Press news agency by a man described as a friend of Mr McQueary.

In a short TV interview, the assistant coach told CBS News that his emotions were "all over the place".

US media are reporting that additional alleged victims have come forward since Mr Sandusky's initial arrest.

Mr Sandusky is charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse of eight young boys over the course of a 15-year-period.

'I did stop it'

"I did stop it, not physically... but made sure it was stopped when I left that locker room... I did have discussions with police and with the official at the university in charge of police," Mr McQueary wrote in the email.

According to prosecutors, Mr McQueary spoke with his father immediately after he left the university's locker room, and then reported the incident to Joe Paterno, Penn State's head coach, the next morning.

The grand jury statement indicates that Mr Paterno and Mr McQueary described what the then-graduate assistant saw to two additional university officials - but never to university police or other law enforcement.

"No-one can imagine my thoughts or wants to be in my shoes for those 30-45 seconds ... trust me," he wrote in the recent email.

"I am getting hammered for handling this the right way... or what I thought at the time was right."

Mr McQueary has not previously spoken about the allegations or his actions.

He was put on administrative leave last week and was not allowed to attend Penn State's final home game of the season on Saturday. University officials said they had received "multiple threats" against the coach.

Mr Paterno - a legendary football coach with the most wins in top division college history - and the university's president, Graham Spanier, were fired by the Penn State Board of Trustees last week for failing to act over the alleged abuse.

On Sunday, Jack Raykovitz, the chief executive of the Second Mile Foundation, which Mr Sandusky started in 1977 to help at-risk children, resigned.

In an interview with NBC News, Mr Sandusky said he was not a paedophile, but admitted that he "shouldn't have showered with those kids".

"I have horsed around with kids. I have showered after workouts. I have hugged them and I have touched their legs without intent of sexual contact," Mr Sandusky said.

Yep, thats because Mike McQueary has had to go into hiding because hes in fear of his life. Everyone is going to blame someone in this mess. BUT let me tell you the order of Blame.... Sandusky-----> McQueary------> THEN EVERYONE ELSE...

Rememba', innocent until proven guilty. I cant believe Sandusky went on air with NBC and admitted showered with the young boy. Very sick!
