Yes this is German custom to celebrate Easter like this... I lovvveeee it because it make me feel good when I look at them because of "Spring"... :D

I see eggs.. as far I know eggs easily breaks.. how eggs stay strong and hard... looks so beautiful ? What kind do you require paint them and varish??? simlair alike nail polish varish make nail harder and stronger...

Yes, I have some real egg shell (my boys made and color or napkin on real egg shell at kindergarten) and a lady isan artist and paint kind of flowers on real egg shell... I bought artist egg shell from her. few of egg shell are damaged thru accident... :tears:

I used to made eggs thru real egg shell, not more but plastic eggs.

I create alot of eggs thru plastic eggs like this.

I color and napkin, soft papers, etc , then decorate on plastic eggs. Yes I shine the eggs after finish crafts to help them stay forever... It´s not nail polish, but paint with gloss varnish.

Lieb!!! Those are really beautiful! You did an excellent job on those decorations.. but unfortunetly I don't decorate Easter either. I only decorate Xmas. I did have some considerations into start decorating Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Valentines Day, it will come in time when I'm ready.

anyway! What you did was very creative! I envy you!

Liebling, beautiful decorating Easter, is only in Germany? there's no like that in former USSR, nor here in USA I havent seen family of my girls's father only Easter baskets, painting boiled eggs.

In former USSR there's Pasha like Jesus cleansing and raising in Heaven, they bake bread with raisin, boiling eggs in onion's shells(sp?) all I know of

i m interested in different cultures

I'm surprised that you dont' have glass plastic eggs in your country. Sorry, I forget to add more links... It's not just glass plastic egg but other plastic eggs as well...

My children want to make real shell eggs with me next year... From now we will start to hole top and bottom of real shell eggs and blow top egg to get white & yolk out from bottom... if I want bake the cake then do that... and save until next year... (it's very senstive and work hard to get raw eggs out from hole.. it should not crack... ) If I have plenty of real shell eggs until next year then you will have one from me.

Very rare to find Baker shops selling Greek bread here like this picture above. I think it is another word for Paska?

This is hot cross buns, bakery selling it until Good Friday. Its spicy and nice bun especially hot ones with melting butter! :)

We don't decorate easter here, I noticed there are more soft toy rabbits and soft chickens for cake decorations as it is. Very boring easter in Australia............ LOL!!

Yes Hot Cross Bun... It's British custom to eat on Good Friday... We don't have like this here in Germany... I baked Hot Cross Bun..
 
Very beautiful, Lieblin' ! I like them. Once I settle down in Juneau, Alaska... I would love to start makin' holiday things for my new home. ;)
 
Here's lot of selling the easter hot buns.... *homemade* delcouisly bakery shop.

but rest other hot cross buns all year around.. here everywhere at the food shopping.
