Earthquake, Volcano, Tornado, Hurricane, or Tsunami?

Prefer hurricanes due to the fact that there are plenty of time for warnings and evacuations than the other 3.

yes but they're scientists.... the volcano experts. they're properly equipped to do those. but what about civilians?
 
I have seen a tornado before. I didn't go close. I never feel the earthquake when I was sleep in bed few times. I heard about my state got into earthquake. I never feel it when shake. It's weird. I never see the hurricane, Tsunami. I have seen the flood on grounds, blizzard and icy winter storm and other thunderstorm during in Spring and Summer time.

Civilians who lived near volcano had to leave their homes with warning ahead with the help of scientists and their tools. It happened many time unlikely back in early time alike one was in Italy.

problem is.... it's not a surefire prediction. Sometimes it just gives a sign of eruption... and then it never happened. sometimes it starts giving sign of eruption and it lasts from few days to a few weeks to a few months.

If it takes more than a couple weeks - you will have bunch of angry people demanding to go back home because their homes were looted and they need to make a living. This is very common in South America.
 
I'll take my chances with the hurricane. If a tornado wizzes thru my town, odds are i'm not going to end up in Oz.
 
I've experienced 4 of the natural disasters except tsunami.

I would pick tornado as it is more predictable.

oh now i get it .. not clear question. .. i accident vote for volcano as i was think of yellowstone..

ok ok i vote for tornado because it almost cant be precitable.... it is happen show up very quickly as surprise! without advance warning like hurricane.. hurricane is easy to spot and prepare to leave before they come...blah.. no worry.. but but still everything is danger places in no matter what... no safe..

i had experiences those mother nature..

hurricanes
tropical storms
tornado
earthquake (such as 1.o LOL! )
short time bad thurderstorm! (common! )
hail storm (few times)
icy storms
flood warning
mmm i dont know more.. lol!
 
I'll pick hurricane as I've been through many, standing at the window watching the fury weather.

However, if I'm in the middle of having sex, I'll pick earthquake.
 
LOL at david! LOL! sound fun but in house... it could be danger unless you are at outside or have no roof! LOL!

It's the greenage....

Actually both hurricanes and tornadoes are predictable.

The difference between the two is that the one can cause widespread damage whereas the tornadoes tend to hop around.

I don't understand your logic.. if tornadoes hop around, how then are they predictable? There's no way to know what direction they will go. :scratch:
 
If I had my choice; As crazy as this may sound - I'd pick the Tornado because tornadoes comes and goes whereas if you're in the midst of the hurricane, it takes hours and hours for the battering rain and high winds to slowly pass by.

Yes, Hurricane can be predictable and it gives you time to be evacuated but as compared as it is to Tornadoes, you either get lucky or you don't. All natural disasters are either predictable or they're not.

I've never yet have to experience the Volcano and Tsunami.

Well... Earthquake - It is always unpredictable and comes on with no warnings but again, it also depends on the severity of the earthquake itself. I think for me, Earthquake would come second on my list because I'd rather have it happen with no warnings. If it was with the warning, that only would have created a mass panic and that leads to a lot of chain reactions or mayhem.

the reason why I picked tornado is solely because I can easily survive it. All I have to do is hide in bunker and wait it out for as long as a day. For rest of disasters - you are FORCED to evacuate or you will die. Hurricane - you will die of possible flood if staying in bunker. Volcano - lol well you have to get out. Earthquake - the only way to be safe is to be in air (copter/plane) or be far away from it.
