I was curious. So I'm askin' now! :)

Does America have cc or captions on Morgan Spurlock's Super Size Me?

Why I'm asking. It's because I'm unable to watch this documentary with cpations or cc as it doesn't seem to be available here. :(

However, his book helped me open my eyes to the real goings behind scenes.

The Canadian edition of the documentary is captioned, so maybe you can order it from a Canadian store then. I believe the American edition is too as well, but I could be wrong.

I've seen the Canadian edition which is from Atlantis Alliance. It can be ordered via several stores such as www.amazon.ca but for some reasons, it's mis-priced at Amazon.ca right now.

I can't remember if it was closed captioned or subtitled, but I'm pretty it's captioned in English anyway since I remember seeing the documentary. Hope this helps, and hope you have a region-free DVD player so you can play these DVDs.

Yes the Supersize Me DVD is closed captioned. My hometown video shack has it. I will need to look up the code for it much like the book to the ISBN # and will let ya know alright. I will visit the video shack and ask for the code of some kind so that you get the DVD ordered the right the first time around right out of the box into the DVD player and watch CC ... they have subtitling. You will need to ask for subtitling on the DVD itself. I think you can check on CC 1 to see if the closed captioning works there but for sure subtitling works !!!!

Thanks guys.

Your suggestions and help are appreciated. :)

Someday, I will do something about it as I do not know if my DVD player can handle dvds from other regions.

It is captioned on dvds here in the states. I watched it the other day with my man -- interesting - ergh..but very eye-opening documentary with both bases of humour and seriousness of educating others on how much fast food consumed can impact one's health, etc.

Yes, I am getting that one to add to my DVD collection and only ones that are worth watching and these days I watch the History Channel and the Discovery Channel. I stopped watching ESPN, not worth watching anymore. I do watch the NASCAR races.Today I am going to the video shack to ask for the code for the DVD that has subtitles and to let you know I live in the USA.
