Dumped ...Because she's deaf

It's nice that they're friendly in this small town and at my work. Maybe it's because of the Deaf community down in Brattleboro about 1/2 an hour away where there is also a deaf school.

File a complaint with the EEOC: U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)

The more people complain, the more likely things are to be fixed.

Suppose a deaf person did very good at college and got a master degree, the employer might not look past that person's hearing loss and decided not to hire him/her just because s/he is deaf. That could happen to any deaf person even though if he/she can speak clearly. It has happened before so it is nothing new.
