I saw this and for some reason it touched me. I like the special effects too and thought it worth showing. :wave:
 
Interesting video, use seat belt only is more safer than use airbag only.
 
this was a good ad. I know my ex-bf's situation was a total fluke. the way his truck was hit, he flipped over 4 times, was ejected through the windshield between 2nd and 3rd flip and landed approximately 100 yards away from truck. He has been told that if he had a seatbelt on, he would have died. His truck was basically cleaned up by shovels and a front end loader. Nothing left. He was doing 35 MPH and the drunk driver was doing 90MPH and ran a red light and hit his little Chevy S10 truck on front right fender. Ex-bf suffered and broken left leg in 7 places, 6 broken ribs, a punctured lung, broken collarbone, fractured neck, and massive internal injuries. He still (20 years later) wishes he had died during the accident. He suffered such brain trauma, that he is a totally different person and now has a very cynical view on life in general. We broke up since I was a strong reminder of life before the accident. We were supposed to get married 3 months after the day of the accident.

Like I say - this was a anomaly, and it is better to wear seatbelts.
 
Great video....wish some of my relatives would watch this, as they "don't belive in seat belts"....and I'll tell ya, if anybody rides with me, they need to buckle up or simply get out of my car....

Has an yone ever had to tell an adult to "buckle up" over and over? Gets on my nerves....

I don't start car until all seatbelts are buckled. Drives MIL crazy, but she understands.
 
I have seen this commercial before and it was beautiful. I always wear seat belts whether I am driving or a passenger. Yes, I have to remind my husband to wear seat belt all the time when he is a passenger. He will do it when he feel like wearing it but often times he does not like seat belts very well. We have a law here that everyone has to wear seat belts at all times. Even if there is a airbag, it is more safer to use seat belts and still remain alive and not have to get hurt at all. :dunno2: Thank you for sharing the video. :hug:
