Okay, got a question. My kids like to download videos from YouTube. The player for them is Real Player. However, I was informed by the Geek Squad at Best Buy here in town, that it was most likely Real Player where I got the last round of viruses. The one guy told me you can view the videos from Windows Media Player or Windows Movie Player.

How do I let my kids or myself view these videos without Real Player? I can't seem to get Windows Media Player to work with them and Windows Movie Player is not working.

Has anyone else heard of this problems?

You beat me...

Yep, that's a good video player. It plays just about everything!

FLV, WMV, AVI, MOV, etc...

It also has a shorter loading time than most other players.
even it plays subtitles too!

Use Firefox (only if you have it) and then download Video DownloadHelper add-on from this link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006/. Then install it. Also they have screenshots which instruct you how to do it.

If you do not have Firefox, then download it from http://www.mozilla.org/ and install it first. You can import all history and bookmarks from IE and Chrome into Firefox. Then add this mentioned add-on.

If you don't want to download Firefox, you can always try the website converter...

Video DownloadHelper is best one ever I had. It has best tool that allow me to grab the video in almost any sites.
