Some of you know that I booked a flight via Internet last Tuesday and the flight ticket arrived at my home 2 days later after that.

I remember some threads at somewhere about US strict rule about baggage safety... but I can´t find where so I create a new thread here.

I´ve read the US flight rule what I should bring or not but it didn´t written much which different I learn from other threads here that the passengers are not allow to bring comestic case in flight with them but leave it in cargo?

In the past, I often carried comestic case with me for use to wash my face, cream, brush my teeth, etc. only if I am on a plane for long hours example my experience to Sinpagore and Australia. Now America... It will takes 16 hours on a plane to St. Louis, Missouri from Germany. I can´t image to live without comestic case... :giggle: I need comestic case badly with me for use toilet things to take care myself. :giggle: Is it allow to carry comestic case with me in the plane instead leave it to cargo?

I need *double check* to make sure since I know there´re strict US flight rules.

I went to City Hall to question about visa application last Wednesday. I know that Germans who own German passport do not need to apply for visa to go America under 90 days but I hold a British passport, that´s why I need to find out. They told me that it´s new law since 1st May 2006 that I do not need to apply visa for go to America... *scratch my head* I faxed American Embassy to question them about this yesterday. I´m waiting for their reply. I rather to do *double check* then regret myself and built more stress...

I would be appreicate for your feedback on this.

TSA | Transportation Security Administration | U.S. Department of Homeland Security

3-1-1 for carry-ons = 3 ounce bottle or less; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3 oz. container size is a security measure. ( TSA | Transportation Security Administration | 3-1-1 on Air Travel )

also:
TSA: Permitted and Prohibited Items

Scroll down the page til you find a list of things that you can or cannot take on board (they will have to go in your luggage).

You cannot bring anything on board with you that is more than 3oz and that it has to follow the restrictions and rules if you're bringing an item on board with you.

Anything more than 3oz can be confiscated (taken away) but I'd recommend that you put your stuff in your luggage for cargo hold.

Thannnnnnnkkkkkkkkkkkkk yoooouuuuu Angel , that´s exactly what I am looking for...

I will read your thread again later... (I´m going to fix the breakfast for my family today)...

*looking forward to see you at real life *exciting *

You're very welcome  I can't want to see YOU too....:fingersx:

I suggest you contact the airport for more information.

There is a limit on how big the container can be for carry on.

Look forward meet you this summer..

Hopefully your everything suitcase will settled fly on airplane while you need some supplies..
rest other supplies goes to cargo.

I heard that you purchased your flight ticket. :h5:

They banned bringing all liquids, creams and gels from being carried aboard flights, Those items must be put in your checked bags, They told me the same thing. :giggle: But, I've seen some passengers have put medications in a plastic bag zipped up, They have to take it out, when standing by the security point. I haven't seen anyone bringing a make-up case by the security point. :dunno:

Don't worry about your looks girl, DreamDeaf doesn't care, You're still beautiful with or without make-up. ;) 16 hours flight is a long flight, poor buns of yours. :giggle:

Looking forward meeting you, even through we had our differences on this forum after-all we still remain friends. :ily:

British passport holders can visit in the US without a visa for up to 3 months.

Do I need a tourist visa?

Currently, many British citizens traveling on a valid, individual machine readable passport, with a return or onward ticket, and who are staying for less than 90 days, qualify for the Visa Waiver Program. There are conditions, so please review the information concering visa free travel on the American Embassy London Nonimmigrant Visas Services Home Page.

I read your links carefully and got relieved after read those link because I need crochet and wools badly to do something while I stick my ass on the flight seat for a long 16 hours and also read magazines as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I agreed to leave comestic case to cargo with toliets things including toothpaste paste. I thought about use apple instead of toothpaste.

Normally I carry comestic case with me in the flight when there're long hours on the plane to wash my face and cream, toothpaste etc. If short hours then leave comestic case to cargo.

I have read about medication... I have a pill for thyriod... I have to use it in ziplock when I carry it to the flight.

Yes I just read WildHunt's links what I should carry or not to the flight. I really never thought about make-up but facial gel and teethpaste, crochet with wools. I never thought to make pretty for DreamDeaf but worry about teethpaste and deoroller and make sure that DreamDeaf won't get faint when we  :giggle: That's why apple is the best medicial ... :giggle:

What I talked about comestic bag is http://www.greatoutdoorsdirect.com/subimages/coscase4.jpg

I only use black liner, macscra and lipstick... That's all. :D

I decide to carry apple to clean my teeth instead of teethpaste. All toilet things go with comestic case to cargo except facial gel, cream black liner, mascra, lipstick, deoroller, apple, bottle of water, thyriod pill, crochet things and magazines... Perhaps sandwiches.

 I have no problem to wear make-up or without make-up but I feel like to take care of myself... :dunno:

Okay, don't worry - I am prepare to forget it and looking forward to meet you in real life after 3 years online.

Better to double check with Flight Assistant at Nuremburg Airport to show your small things that you will carry with you in the plane, if they are not happy what they see, then put it in your suitcase before it go through cargo. Ok. :)

Surprise news about no American visa stamp on your passport to remember your holiday, like I had one before. Save money, your lucky.

16 hours?? - my flight from London to Toronto with Air Canada took me 9 hours to get there! Same with Frankfurt to New York is 9 hours too.

Unless are you going to stop-over somewhere or change planes between Germany and USA which can cause time stretch?

It would be lovely reunion if your Aunt and a school friend from LA will see you in USA after the wedding? Wish you a Bon Voyage!!

Yeah, I'm surprised too. That's time I applied VISA via Travel Agency for go to Australia in 2000 but at present time, no more... :eek3: I'm still waiting for American Embassy's reply.

Accord Internet/Flight ticket = total 16 hours including time stretch yes! (difference time between Germany & America). I have to catch 3 different planes to arrive St. Louis, Missouri.

I will leave Nuermberg Airport at 7.35 am for Frankfurt at 8.25 am and wait until 11.10 am then leave for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and arrive there by 1.55 pm, then leave again by 4.00 pm for Lambert St. Louis, Missouri and arrive there by 5.29 pm.

For go back Germany on 9th July, I will leave Cleveland Hopkin by 6.00 pm (accord US flight rule, I must be there 2 hours before 6.00 pm) and arrive Philadelphia by 7.24 pm, then leave by 8.15 pm for Frankfurt and arrive there by 10.20 am (one day later on 10th July) and leave again by 2.20 pm to arrive Nuermberg by 3.05 pm on 10th July.

I'm afraid no, my school friend lives in LA which a long way from Cleveland and St. Louis. My Aunt lives in Tampa, Florida which is a long way as well. I told her via msn chat about this. She find sad because of long distance between her area and DreamDeaf and twinies's area. She asked me for VP but I told her that I don't think I have time to use Dreamdeaf's or twinies's computer since I want to learn to know online friends, their culture etc in real life than sit on front of the computer. She understood and agree. I know I alway say that I will get webcam but I never get it... I really don't know why... Oh well... :ugh3:

Wish you a Bon Voyage!!
