You don't have to talk to your VR!! You can search it on the net and find it in your area(department of service for the deaf and hard of hearing) and then read the forms before you fill the applications out... Then you wait between 4-6 weeks only if you are egliable for the equipments. Please don't waste your time with the VR... Just search on the net just like I did even if you have to go under www.askjeeves.com and he will pull the site up for you or what your looking for... It's simple and easy! Im pleased with all my equipments and I know you would too!!LuciaDisturbed said:Ooooh, nice!
I will have to talk to my VR....

My plan is good for indoor complexes that dont get any rain from the outside.

CHS= Canadian Hearing Society
I'd rather find reasonable pricey for doorbell device.. wireless preferable!
diehardbiker65 said:I understand perfectly clearly that these stuff is pricey. Yes it is pricey but it is NOT rip off. There is problem with these kind of stuff that made the price so high. The problem is what? Low production! When anything is manufactured with small or limited qualities they generally cost much more. Why? It has to do with tooling, cost of design, cost of development, those aren't cheap. Most of the time these kind of stuff would be able to handle huge volume, but again since its for deaf not enough would be sold at reasonable price with reasonable profit.
Perfect example here, you note that most tty machine average cost is 300 dollars a unit. It only has basic feature in there and it only recieves and transmit information though the hand, verses a computer which does far more than TTY can handle, but the price for computer is dirty cheap. That is because computer were manufactured in real large quanities and able to sell far more than what companies were able to sell TTY. So hence the "Law of supply and demand".

This idea can lead to lawsuit liablity for personal injury and property damages. Also the building inspector can fine for this type of code violation. I had mine professional designed and installed hardwired. I did this for safety reason. Safety is always #1 priority to me.
Nesmuth said:My design is safe and it's hardwired too. I have been doing this for over 25 yrs for my friends and clients. I have yet to hear a complaint or a problem from them.

If you want to use your vibrator as a doorbell signaler, it will work.
Anything you want to use as an indicator that somebody's at door, you can do.
Same concept. More freedom of which applicanes you want to use. (Lamp, strobe, disco ball, vibrator, whatever). Whole LOT cheaper.
What kind hardware u get it for $8?Nesmuth said:I dont know of any program that gives these doorbell signal notification devices free. But you can improvise a similar system with about $8 dollars worth of materials from your local hardware.
