IMO, cops shoot people by mistake not because they didn't have trainings but because since they are cops, they think they can get away with it. They have already been trained but they still fu*k it up.
 
It's sad that the common sense is declining these days. Something is very wrong with this picture. :(

A friend was telling me about a cop shooting a guy in the back because he did not hear the cop . How does a cop justified shooting a person in the back ??? I agree people do have less common sense these days.
 
Have a sign on my door that says "Nevermind the Dog...Beware of the Owner"...and a pix of a hand with a Smith & Wesson.

I use my "peep hole" at all times...and doors always locked....and even when I open the door, I leave the safety lock flap on..(just a little crack in the door) if I don't know the person....

I do remember a few times when the Police came to my door and upon seeing the sign...they backed off a little and had their hands on their guns....:giggle:....
 
Did the cop stop and sprinkle crack on the kid just to be on the safe side? Well, I guess I can't answer the door wearing an armor hotdog vest anymore. :(

Not all doors have a peep hole. I never been in a house that had a peep hole on the front door. Apartments I rented had peep hole and my condo does ,it was apartments first. I would not have sign like that my door , you're jus asking for trouble . Someone might break in just to steal the 'gun'.

My place has a peep hole and I can't make out what it is. That peep hole is so small that the view is distorted anyway. I use the windows instead. Today doorbell rang, I quickly peeped through the blinds, saw it was UPS truck.

Sadly, this kid DID know who he was opening the door for...most (innocent) people assume a cop isn't going to shoot them dead at their door...
