Don't Forget to turn your clocks Forward tonight!

I hardly rely on car clock any more. Cell phone it is. No need to worry about time.

I'm excited with hour forward ! this means more daylight at the end of the day and more seat time with my tractor. I hate working with the headlights glare. Got lights from hood, the rops and rear when working in the dark.

Because you are old enough to stay up after the street lights go on? :D
:D
But I'm usually in bed by 9:00 and asleep by 9:30. Of course last night that wasn't the case & this morning I needed to go to an earlier Mass than my usual. Agh! May be taking a nap this afternoon.

there is still the same amount of sunlight , turning the clock forward just mean people wake up one hour earlier. We do not need to do that to get more sunlight , we just have get up earlier. Farmers use to get up at crack of dawn to have a longer day. Now we have the government telling us when to get up!

Got my son to do the chore!....:giggle:....We have a lot of clocks too...and not so keen about "losing an hour"....will take me a few days to adjust to it....having someone say..."Hurry Up...it's later than you think"....After all the clocks have been moved forward...it's days before I remember to change my wrist watch....*looking at it now*...

I grew up on and around farms -- no need to tell me that .. however they no longer get up at crack of dawn. On dairy farms they have to follow the trucks pickup of milk. DST doesnt wait for anyone and kids still gotta go to school. I hated milking cows before school. been there, done that. no more.

But cutting hay/baling/transporting it is ok since its a long day anyway. Winters are worse. Do you like getting hay at 5 am at 10 degrees. cleaning teats with cold hands and watch the girls jump from cold teat suckers ?

I know, I said farmers USES to get up at the crack of dawn. I know there are farmers that still do. I had a client that was dairy farmer , he had real nice farm, it was up on hill and the property was about 200 aces. The realtors where like vultures waiting for my client and sisters to dies. I know being a farmer is hard work , we still have a couple farms in business in my city.

We have a lot too. Part of them are antique electric clocks, plus key wound antique clocks, on cuckoo that has weights on pull chains...

My father in law was a watchmaker.

My dad was a watch breaker! He would take his watch apart to see how it worked and the back of the watch has scratches all over it. I still have the watch ,dad had the watch on him when he dies.
