I think it's not a pet for Dolphins. I am wonder have you even petting Dolphins?? I did at Sea World last Friday. I love the Dolphins! It's my first time to petting them in my life. I will plan to go Discovery Cove to swim with the dolphins in few years later. I know it's expensive for 1 day.

I can't pet the Killer Whale. It's not allow anyone to petting on whale. I didn't understand why.
 
Dolphin is still smart than us. They use their brain to send message to us that we're suppose to take care of dolphins and ignore killer whale.
 
I've pet dolphin too! Even I fed their fishes too! It was at the Sea World in San Diego, CA. :)

Same here. It cost 7 dollar for fishes tray. My husband thought we have 4 fishes but it's 3. It was so funny. It was my first time to feed a fish to Dolphin. I was afraid. I thought dolphin would bite. But dolphins didn't bite at all. I took a picture of my husband's feeding a fish to Dolphin. it's good shot! I did pet dolphins. I love it! Dolphins act like a DOGS.

We went to Shamu Stadium and have a nice eat buffet. They gave us a free Shamu's fin necklaces. I will redo the necklace to make a look good.

So glad you had a blast!!! I will be taking my kids to Sea World again. It's a great place. Discovery Cove will have to wait--too costly for now. :)
 
I have not petted dolphins yet. Maybe something to do before I die.
 
i've petted dolphin, and i've also been in deep sea with the dolphin for at least about 30 minutes at ocho rios, jamaica when i was on cruise tour. i've got kissed by a dolphin, dancing around with dophin, dolphin also splashed the group, the big ring that a person has to throw while dolphin is playing hide and seek and the dolphin looked for the ring and went up into the air when he got the ring. I had a blast. it was a great experience.. :)
 
We often see wild dolphins in the waters around Charleston but we don't touch them.

I heard at Sea World they have stingers, but are surgically removed prior to living at the park. I wouldn't touch the wild ttypes, just in case! LOL

I'm going to practically live with dolphins this summer. ;) I'll meet about over 30 of them! can't wait.. :mrgreen:

Update: I checked for dolphin stingers and nothing came up...that hearing aid must have picked up some bad info! LOL But wild dolphins may be mean, not a good idea to risk meeting them.

Thank you! :) Discovery Cove cost about over 200 dollar for a day. We suppose to go but rather to wait. The important about go to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Universal Studio and Sea World for my first experience. I never go these parks before. I was first time. I was so exciting to go. It's so blast time! I love to go on roller coaster. But I am sick of regular long lanes. I didn't know about Fast Express cost 35 dollars for pass. Next time, we will get a Fast Express Pass.

Your kids will love to pet the dolphins and want to pet them more. LoL
 
Yeah I have a pictures but everything are in my husband's macbook. I can't get into his password to copy the picture transfer to my log in. He is at working. I will ask him to do it tomorrow. I want to send a pictures of dolphins.

Have a fun with dolphins. I want to go Discovery Cove to swim with the dolphins in future.

Aw that's so cute! I love to see the dance with dolphins. You're so lucky to kiss them. I can't kiss dolphin because of too many people want to pet and feed them. It's share to everyone.

I didn't want to leave Dolphins. Because I would miss them! They're my first time to pet them in my life.

I went to Wild Arctic with helicopter last Friday. It was fun! We choose to go helicopter and watch a movie instead of walk for 5 min.
