Does Anyone Who is Deaf Working for Lowe's?

i did apply online and never receive call! that makes me so stranges but im been apply at home depot and never receive call also its would be rude for deaf people to hires!

CALL them and let them know that you already applied and never got a call. It will make them feel guilty for not giving you any update after you applied! I strongly recommended you to call Lowe's where you applied OR go in there and talk to HR in person (have your brother go with you, so he can introduce(SP??) you to HR). I have see that before at my store. Few people brings their friends or brothers/sisters to HR! I have few people that are brothers/sisters at Lowe's as long as they are NOT in same department.

DO NOT GIVE UP!!!! :fingersx:

i agree!

That is unfortunate, and I understand a bit.

Some people seem to think I am stupid or not worth the time because I don't speak verbally or understand verbal speech. I have even had problems with a few sign language speakers who don't get the fact that even though I wear glasses and can see, I cannot follow the movements well and some just plain go too fast, and some are not used to what to do to let me understand by feeling what they do with their hands.

Yep... don't be surprised....some hearing people can't read or write and they give up and walk away. I suspect it that way. Some just simply walk away before I get out my paper and pen to communicate.

I left the job due that they refused to give me a full time job after working with a part time job. I asked them 2 or 3 times for a request.

I'm not a frequent shopper at Lowe's. So, I've never seen any deaf employees there. I don't have any friends that I know of who works there either.

I did know a few deaf people who worked at Home Depot. So, if that was possible... then I'm sure it's also possible to find deaf people at Lowe's. :)
