No, Xbox live is require for everyone to get cable or DSL because dial up can cause laggy when play on gaming online with other members.
 
Once you go cable, you never go back :lol:

I've always hated using my mom's computer because she is still using the dial up. Unfortunately it's the only choice that can be accessed to the internet since it is in a rural area where there's no cable service provided. It takes foooorever and way too slow.

So yeah, I'm hooked to the cable :P
 
I am hooked to DSL ,smilarly :P

never want dial up unless there is no other choice :ugh:
 
NOPE! I would NOT go to dial up! They are sucks and SLOOOOOOOOOOOW like a sloth!!!

So we stick with cable modem! :thumb:

I still use Dial Up... I will always use DIAL UP... because it is cheaper for me.

People who have problem with Dial Up, it is because their computers are OLD.
If you have a new Computer, it won't cut off.:type:
 
Dial up is more expensive than DSL in my country if you want to surf on the net !
 
its not expensive to use dial up as it is only 18.95 a month.. thats it.. unlimited.. :)
 
I still do use dail up to surf... it's not a problem.. but when it comes to viewing videos from sites liek Google and etc.. ehh slow crap... oh well..been thinking about upgrading to some sort of light lightning high speed thing..but not really sure if I would go that route yet...

It been years since last time I used dial up... erm since 2001, late 2001 had DSL, I don't think I will ever wanna to go back to dial up again.
 
Dial up is like a turtle. :giggle: I have HYAH to dial up over a year ago and loving my cable internet. :D
 
<---Retired from dial-up for a year or so except when I gotta go to my mothers house and her pooter's still stuck in the Stone Age!

I love having a cablemodem hooked up to my Linksys wifi router as I can have my laptop anywhere in the house and not be so tethered to an ethernet line. However my xbox 360 is hard-wired into the Linksys as it just stays in one place.
 
i didnt know comcast have phone service.. here its cable and internet only.. but not phone? strange.. i will check with my sons father to see if he have phone service with comcast or not?? he have comcast.. :)
 
I'm still on dial up, someone cry for me. I hope I can move out one day into town for DSL.
