I am just curious does anyone have farm animals and what kind and how many?

I used to have a lot of farm animals but not anymore. I wish I could back but I cant. It is long story. Anyways. I own goats for over 8 years.

I have is :

3 diary goats: Nubians

2 dogs: 1 lab mix and 1 great pyr

30 chickens: mixed

4 rabbits: mini rex

4 cats in the barn

1 cat in the house

Oh I miss my jersey cows but they are long gone..

I don't have a farm but I do have a horse, a Buckskin Paint named Spirit and 2 cats. I would love to live out in the country so I could have more animas but my husband said absolutely no birds. lol. He raised them when he worked at a farm store. He doesn't miss it.

We no longer have a farm, but we used to have a small one years ago. We had chickens and geese. We also have always had dogs and cats.

I moved into Virginia with my sister and her family at the same time in July. They add animals into their home rather quickly. Currently as far as I know, we have 21 chickens (mix), two dogs (one of them is mine named Yoda), three rabbits, two chameleons, crickets, three fish, and something else living in the tank. I know that they are considering about adding a goat...hopefully next year.

When I lived in N.C., I had a female goat named "Gretchen", about 15 rabbits (outside), which I built them a very large hutch, 6 dogs, 4 cats, 2 Cocktiels, and several fish and a fish pond outside. All on 1 acre of property in the countryside....

I don't have a farm, but my school has Boers! Goat Love :)

Sounds like you still have quite a few animals

No, I don't have a farm either but do have 4 horses. I love living in the country but don't think I could cope with that many more animals

My hearing sister has 10 horses now on her farm in South Carolina this year. She had a sheep, and it died from eating a poisonous yew on her farm that she didn't know about. I didn't like him because he hit me and some people's back without aware of it. That was really hard hit on my buttock!

She had 20 muscovy ducks, 11 chickens, and 2 roosters. She has a dog and five indoor cats. Now, I believe that she has three chickens and a rooster. Some chickens were old. She finally gave the ducks away in a safe wood area because they fight each other in her fence everyday especially nasty male ones. We learned our lesson not to adopt any muscovy ducks from now on because they live for 20 years. We took care of them for about five years.

In past, I helped my sister to clean up her farm. I can imagine how hard work for me to take care of her nine horses at Cape Cod especially hot weather.

I heard that she adopted three abused dogs. Her own dog is happy to have his new family. A few weeks ago, she saw a puppy with a heavy chain to the tree during rain day. A woman refused to let her to adopt it. A few days ago, her house is foreclosed and her house is empty. My sister came to check and found the puppy, but the puppy was hanged up on the tree. (I mean that this puppy was dead! The woman should have freed her so she might find a new home. Many poor redneck families live in South Carolina. Sigh.)

Yeah, the muscovy ducks are not well-loved in SC. They look like they have tumors, and they move into subdivision pond areas then take over people's yards.

We're not allowed to have farm animals where I live. I wish I could have a few chickens for fresh organic eggs.

At grandmère's - when I was little - we had chickens and rabbits :D Next door there was farm with horses and cows (and PLENTY of chickens) :D

At my dad's I had normal pet animals such as 2 cats, one dog, 4 birds and a rabbit. As far as I can remember ;)

My family has alot of cows.......We used to have chickens and goats but not any more.

We have a few horses as well. I have 2 race horses (not farm animals) but one of them......not sure he can out run the cows.

I have two pigs living in the house.. That still refuses to keep their pig sty clean!!! :D

You have a yard. Build a mud pit. Tell them if your room isn't clean you spend the night in the pit like the pigs you are  Might even mention that gators like mud too. Those rooms will sparkle :)
