Does anyone have any recommendations as to the best online course provider for a hard of hearing person?

I don't know... there are some online programs that offer degrees... or in IT offer certificates. In general most do meet the needs for deaf/hard of hearing- but you do need to ask a few questions-
1. Are there videos? If so are they captioned (Sometimes they get away with the "auto captions" deal- hate that)?
2. If they can't be captioned, can transcripts be provided? Some do.
3. Are there "live lectures" meaning you'd watch live streaming. This is the tougher part as you can't have them captioned unless they get a real time captioner (have actually seen this in action with an audio webinair I just attended). Can they provide transcripts afterwards or captioned video?
4. Many also probably have some sort of chat function and forum type set up. Moodle is one example.
So depending on what she wants to do the degree in there are some options out there. As I've only done IT courses, hard to say.
