Does anyone feel Christmassy?

Yep!!! Done with all xmas shopping and I'm going to Olympia on the 18th to 20th to visit my Dad, to do the cooking of Cookies and Candies so I'm looking forward to that... and then 4 days later after the 20th, we'll be celebrating Xmas eve just with the kids then on the 25th, my son, Grandma and I will be heading up to Olympia to celebrate Xmas with my parents and sister/niece.... so yeah I'm feeling quite chistmassy and excited.
 
Sorry to say this but nope, I'm not looking forward to Christmas as this year wasn't a good year to say the least.

Also the whole family won't be together again this year.

Barely am noticing that Christmas is approaching.
 
I'm trying to get into it. I mean its okay but I'm not in the mood this year. I'm not going to put up the lights outside my house this time.I got to do more shopping this week and then my family coming in from Baltimore next week. God,I can't wait till its over with.

I feel the same way. We had to do all the decorating that my mother in law wanted and that drove the spirit right out of me. Finances are not good and I am putting off bills just to make it a good Christmas for my kids. I will be glad when January gets here.
 
I'm really looking forward to having my kids home for the holidays. Especially my teen because I'm tired of being his warden making sure that he gets his home work done! We both need a break.
 
:rl: no, not really. This year has been full of fights for me and my family. It's kind of depressing....
