Do you wear hat/cap when you are go out to fancy restaurant?

I wear backward cap too.
 
some place have dress codes especially those upper-end, casual dining chain. They may tell you to pls remove the hat or no service. No tank top, hat, baseball cap, no cut off shorts, and even on cell phone.

not sure if that place have a dress-and-etiquette code. It may have a sign on wall show what to wear and how to handle cellphone when u are in restaurant. if you have cellphone- it is better to go outside to answer it instead of restaurant.

some place dont have dress code so some of us are lucky then. heh. but its more considerely to respect women to take hats off especially if you are on a date. More respect, you know?
 
You can wear whatever kind of hat/cap you want to the restaurant.

Of course, you need to remove your hat before you sit down to the table.

That includes every kind of restaurant, fancy and fast food. It's rude to wear a hat at the table.

In oklahoma it's kinda the norm to wear hat in resturant.

I have had plenty of pyscho girlfriends, you would not believe me unless you were there or have seen it or some of my friends who have seen what happened then they listen to me telling what happened then they would have known I was telling the truth because they had been there and seen what happened before so when they were not there at that time and we are just guys sitting all around drinking beer and I am telling what happened and they would know I was telling the truth from real life, the anothers who do not know me that well enough or never have seen how crazy and pyscho some of my ex-girlfriends are would say No way!!!! , that is bullshit !!!! and the guys would have said " Every word of it is true " because they already know and even if they were not there, they would have known I was telling the truth because some of the things that my ex-girlfriends did were really messed up and very bizzare you know ? I don't have a trenchcoat though, never owned one but a cowboy hat, yes. Some of them I really want those girls out of my life. You would not believe it !!!! For some reason, I tend to attract the wrong kinds of women they seem normal at first then they end up being a mental case. I can't wait to have a normal stable good girlfriend who will be one day my wife.

Maybe you need to do some self analyzing to find out why you attract such weird girl friends.

Yes, Reba I have did alots of figuring out why on my own and with my friends and I have followed the advice of anothers some worked some did not work as well as what I have learned worked or did not work on my own. It always starts out that my girlfriend is normal but then I go huh ? and I go whoa .... then I say Hey something is wrong here then I see what happens with her makes me want to run away, not just walk away, I mean run away from her because she has some real serious mental problems so I just stay single, relax and meet girls on my own. I actually dated a girl who just got out of the forensic unit of the state hospital and she was beautiful not like any of the mental girls you would normally see in a state hospital and I have dated girls who just got out of the women's correctional facility center and some of the another girls that I have dated were suicidal, saying things like if you don't love me enough then I will kill myself then I go whoa and I can not enjoy a normal relationship with a normal woman for once. The one that I dated that was the most normal girl is now married to someone and I wish I did myself a favor and had married her which would have saved me many years of trouble down the road from these girls. It would really, really be nice to date a normal woman and that is something I really want. Good women these days are very hard to find. I am not going to settle for less. I want the best woman to be my wife.
 
hm if u wear cap just take it off when u get to the resturant.. simple as that :)

Heath, you're not going to find a "good" or "normal" woman from the state hospital or correctional facility. A good woman will be hard to find if you are looking in all the wrong places.

Well, a fast food place, like say, McDonald's, is very casual. Why is it so bad to wear a hat there?

If it was a fancy place with candles and nice tablecloths and wine, then yeah, hats off. Different story.

Oh, I should add...McDonald's employees are required to wear hats anyway due to health code regulations. So, that really makes it pointless to insist that wearing a hat to McD's is bad manner.
 
It turns me off if men wear their hats or caps to ANY restaurants. I would do the same not to wear it. My brothers and dad never wears the caps or hats at all even not in the restaurants or outside of the restaurants. they hate to wear them except the winter time but not in the restaurants.

If you are eating at a fast food table, a home table, or a "fancy" restaurant table, you are still eating food at a table.

Are the employees sitting down at your table and dining with you? No? Then they need to keep their hats on while serving you.

Same rule for the chef at the fancy restaurant. Unless he sits down at your table to dine with you, he keeps his stiff white hat on in the kitchen.
 
Elevator is considered a public area.. always take hat off when u are in front of a lady.. thats one of etiquette rules.. if you didnt take it off then you are considered rude.
